As far as eligibility is concerned you have to get at least 60% in your 12th and you must be a science student. Then I opted for a diploma in nautical science. For that, you need to take sponsorship from the company and hence you are pre-placed and you need to study for 1 year and then you can do the training. The application form is available on the Tolani website and is available by march and the course starts in August. As far as the reservation is concerned there are no such criteria. Everyone has to go through the smartest process. I find all the admission processes are pretty smooth and transparent.

I chose this course because it's a guaranteed job as you are pre-placed. The stipend and salary are quite good and the college as well. We have different faculty for each subject so the faculty-student ratio is quite good. All the faculties are highly qualified and most of them are captains and chief engineers with lots of other degrees as well. The term exams were a little difficult as it is taken by imu and they are taken on time.

For my course the placement is already done and students are pre-placed hence we don't need to attend any interviews and written test after we have joined the course. As far as package is considered the package is quite high. The percentage of students thus placed is 100% as they are pre-placed. After getting the degree we need to go on the ship for training.

The course which I am doing is quite expensive but not so expansive when considered to BTech and bsc. We are charged five lakh per annum which is quite high for a middle-class family to afford. There are no such scholarship criteria as far as I know as it is a private institution but I have seen students getting financial assistance from the college. And as we are pre-placed we get our stipend after one year which ranges between 400-700$.

Since our course is for one year so we don't enjoy much of college life but on a regular basis, fests are organized like freshers' parties and cross country races, and many more events. The library is quite big and all types of books are available and you can take them anytime. Much of the focus is on sports and we have to go for daily exercises and we have all the courts and sports equipment. There are lots of club-like adventure club maths club English club cookery and many more clubs.

The rooms provided are quite big and are double occupancy rooms. We have all the facilities like wifi study table broom and all for our assistance. The quality of food is quite good and. Above par. We get five days of non veg food and for veg people there are seaparate things All people who have chosen this course have to live in hostel so we dont need to rent any pg and all the charges are included in the hostel.
