Remarks

The admission process was based on the JEE mains score. For counseling 3 sessions were conducted and 2 spot rounds were there which was conducted by JAC Chandigarh. Students have to register themselves before the start of counselings and the website starts taking registrations from 2 to 3 weeks after JEE result.

Course Curriculum Overview

If the choice of choosing the course, it was the dedication and desire to learn technologies and find a carrier in it. Faculty to student ratio is absolute as needed. If any student needs any sort of help they are free to approach any of the professors. Even seniors are also very supportive and this legacy of helping others is being passed for years.

From the 6th semester, students get eligible for the placement offers. For this term, the highest package offered was 40LPA by Microsoft and was grabbed by 12 students of the college. On average, around 40+ companies visit every year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee hike policy is generally around 8 to 10 percent on yearly basis, apart from that students also get scholarships like merit cum means, single parent fee concession, and much other which are offered under PU guidelines of the scholarship

Campus Life

The campus size of the college is not that big but yes PU itself has a great campus including a cafeteria, canteen, shops stationery, and many grounds for various sports. Students can also go to PU main campus which is close to the UIET campus.

Hostel Facilities

A story of every hostel, It can't offer food as good as our mother's kitchen. The same is the case with this also, In the initial I was very reluctant to the taste of the food but later, get used to it. In terms of nutrition, it is good.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Placement Experience:

Its more than an average decent college you can surely come here.

Placement Experience:

You can appear for placements starting from 7th semester onwards plus you can apply yourself as well to various off-campus opportunities. The companies which visit are decent i would say including the likes of Amazon, Deloitte, Hero came as well few years ago for mechanical engineers. Around 50-60 decent companies visit the college for placement with around 300 job offers with the highest package around 41 lpa which was off campus probably but Amazon could give upto 25-30 lpa i guess, The average package would be around 7 lpa i guess but its gonna improve year by year. If you are in CSE or IT you are most chilled with around 80% placements, in ECE as well there are decent placements but after that you have to study really well to get placed But you can always do a lot of things after getting your degree.

Remarks:

I chose this because of the brand of Panjab University. Plus you get a lot of exposure of Chandigarh and there are a lot of opportunities there based on your field, even better than Delhi. Plus you never get distracted in Chandigarh because of the reason that people are too much work and ethics focused. Also, the level of knowledge the teachers have in my college is just great.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
