I am Soumyadeep Ghosh a first-year student of GOVT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TEXTILE TECH BERHAMPORE. I was admitted to this college through wbjee examination. My general merit rank - approx 7.5-7.6 K I don't give my actual rank for my personal reasons Every year WBJEE is conducted and this year from fillup is done anyone can find all about WBJEE in wbjee.nic.in website or wbjee official website. I was admitted to the computer science department through decentralized counseling before this in 3rd round of counseling I got electrical ENGINEERING in the OBC-B category. After that, I participated in Decentralized counseling and got computer science and ENGINEERING department

The course faculty members are good I prefer this course because there was a huge opportunity after BTech in computer science. The teaching of the faculty members is also awesome. Tests are taken by the teachers for CA marks and that is concept-based.

The placement of our college is average Many companies have visited our college every day like -COGNIZANT , WIPRO,CABJIMINI, BAJAJ, and others The highest package is up to 6 lac and average package is 4-5 lac The placement of computer science is 70-80 percent and the textile technology placement is above 90% The placement of mechanical and electrical departments are low below 60%

The admission fee after wbjee counseling is 3000 and if you are admitted through decentralized you have to give 8000 rupee because and CSE fee per sem is 6000 and for others stream it 3000 The package in cse is up to 5-6 lac and avg package is approx 4 lacs The science you can SWAMI VIVEKA NANDA Scholarship of 60000 rupees per year

The campus life of our college is great as a first-year student you have to obey some rules in your dressing you have to dress as a formal office worker this is only for the first year and there is no ragging in our college There are happens many cultural activities and the SWARASWATI puja of our college is famous through the district Berhampur There are many cultural groups dance groups, singing groups, art groups, tech groups, and many more. and our college conducted an MTech fest every year.
