Remarks

The admission in the year 2019 was on the basis of merit. I scored well in the CBSE Board exam of class 12th and when the cut-offs were out, I applied for this course in the Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is similar to chemistry honors. It is uniquely about the applications, advantages, preparations, hazards of various chemicals in the industry. The faculty is very good. The teachers are well experienced, supportive, and helpful. There is a semester exam and no mid semesters. The exams are held twice a year.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is affordable and there are opportunities like scholarships are available for students. Also, the placement cell is very active. Many companies come for the hiring process. You will get the internship & job details on a regular basis if any company visits.

Campus Life

College life is good. The college Library is the largest one in India. There is the availability of various sports, societies, etc. The annual fest is held every year & celebrities are invited. NSS and NCC are very active. YUVA society is also there which is very beneficial for the youth or young students.

Talking about the placements it has society that is placement cell you have to join it for updates and also you will register on your college portal also. According to previous data it has a highest placement of 6.5 lakh per annum and the companies which visits here are google, tcs, infosys, etc And in every year you are eligible but you have experience in fields a good resume My plan was to prepare for ssc after getting the degree

Placement Experience:

I don't really know about the placement yet as I'm still in my 2nd year of college but the internship opportunities are quite good, you get a lot of well know as well as startup companies here looking for interns making it easily accessible to every course and year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.

The course is superb, it combines everything, also the college offer great skill courses which helps to increase the employability. The exams occur after every 5 months and exams are not that much difficult if you have a knowledge of 12 th science you can easily clear it

The course curriculum is not very relevant to nowadays only learning basic coding is not going to help you get the job we are not taught to make projects simple apps and AI is not used in the functioning

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.

Glimpses of Deshbandhu college

I choosed this college over other colleges because of its NIRF ranking and it's near to my home . My college compare to other colleges is really good and less strict as I have listened from other colleges also that they have more classes compare to my college. My marks were little less to get me admitted in North campus but nonetheless I love my college.
