No minimum requirements were there for applying for this course, everyone can apply for it. I found the application form and all other details on their website It was good and hassle-free, nice service was provided

I chose this course because from my childhood I was interested in completed so I decided to pursue B. Tech CSE further. The student-faculty ratio is 1:60 Faculties are good and their teaching methods are efficient. Term exams are easy, you can easily pass them event if you study for Jay over a month before exams.

Very good placements record for the college Around 400+ companies visited for CSE in our college last year The highest package is 22 paid for last year and the average package is 6l Most of the students get placements through college

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for btech CSE is 45000/- semester. They hire 2000rs. For every new batch. I haven't got any scholarship, financial assistance, or job from my college till now so I cannot connect much to this topic. But placement record is good or college till now

There are various clubs in the college. There are some official club-like champion club, pixels club, Rangmanch club, and then there are some clubs created by students like Kerberos, IEEE, and GDSC All around the year different clubs do organizing their own different events One of the biggest events of the college is Parivartan which lasts for about a week and then there is a freshers party event. Libraries are good with wifi.

Hostel Facilities

You get all basic facilities, wifi is also available and bathroom are separate for each flow The meal menu is good with different dishes every day but the quality is not so good. The registration process is easy Very affordable hostels

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Real myths and facts

I choose this college because the placement opertunity is very great as compared to other colleges .As college has attend the naac A++ gradation which adds another reason to join this college ..another reason also be that the the college is near by my hometown and I would be beneficial for me to stay with my parents and add new skills to me .its is the only college that I have applied for and got admission directly in the college . Honest CGC Landran review

The admission process is easy the eligibility is around 80% or 75% in boards that's it with PCM. There's was a registration fees of 11k when I enrolled and I'm not sure about now and no further fee for admission and this registration fees is included in the tution fees later, there are no college admission tests here, and they do not enroll a lot of students but it is collaborated with CU so a lot of students sits for placements ....Read More
