Remarks

Admission is merit-based, i.e., on the basis of marks obtained on the 12th board. For our year, the entire application process was online. It would be better if the admission is granted based upon entrance exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like Sanskrit, therefore I chose it. Student-faculty ratio is approx 7:1. All the professors are too good and they are so friendly. Exams are conducted two times a year. Passing exams is quite easy.

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 16450 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is a separate society for the purpose of recruiting interested interns. Students learn a lot while doing these internships. They also get rewards and stipends after the successful completion of their work.

Placement Experience

Almost no placement chances for Arts students. Science and Commerce students usually get placed at very high-rated companies. There is a placement cell of our college as well. Personally, my plan is to initiate research work on my subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are neither too high nor too low. Roughly the tuition fees are about 33,000 yearly in my course. Scholarships are also given to deserving candidates who need financial assistance. Students also get scholarships if they perform brilliantly in academics.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called Mecca, which is very famous all around the DU campus. The library is very rich. Sports lovers will love to be a part of this institution. There are innumerable societies where one can hone one's capabilities and evolve as a much better person.

I kind of do not understand the point of studying ancient statecraft and political theory. As much as these subjects could be valued by some, in my opinion, I know that i'm NEVER going to have to use these topics in my daily life. So why make it such a big issue? Reality Check

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit
