Admission to this college is based upon JEE MAINS percentile and counselling will be held online on the Chandigarh website. If you are eligible for JEE mains then you can apply here. Application form and registration will be started after JEE mains results on the JAC Chandigarh website. Registration fees were 2500 rupees in the 2021 year. Various reservations are applied here like defence quota, sports quota and all. I have taken admission here with a defence quota. Here is a myth among students that only Punjab students with a defence quota can apply which is absurd. Anyone with a defence quota from anywhere in India can avail of reservation benefits.

I've chosen here CSE department which is considered cool here. 60 students are here in the CSE department with 8 professors. Many teachers are here with Ph.D. with excellent teaching methods. There are two Mid sem tests (MST) and a semester test with many practical's. It's easy to pass the exams if you are regular.

Less no. Internships are provided by the college but students themselves find an internship. Almost 40% of students grab internships every year. CSE IT students are much inclined towards coding so they get better an internship.

The placement of CSE/ IT students is good with avg package of 7 LPA and the highest package of 15 LPA in 2021 but for other branches, it is not so good. Although those students learn coding themselves and take decent packages The previous year, some students also grabbed 40 LPA packages. Many mass recruiting companies and some good companies visit here. A good thing is that UIET Hoshiarpur students get opportunities to sit with it Chandigarh students in placements. Almost 40% of students grabbed internships in 2-3 years.

The course fee of this college is 3,97,300 rupees ( 4 years ). Panjab University can hike fees if required. CSE/IT department has an average placement of 7 lakhs. Many mass recruiting companies visit here and some good companies also visit here. The coding culture of this college is also good.

Campus Life is good here as the number of students is limited with all basic facilities is available outside the college. There are various clubs like the algoders community, platform for coding students and Shor community for singing and drama and various other clubs are present here. A big library with WiFi, large no. Of books is present here. Various sports facilities are also available here like volleyball, football, etc. All types of community are here which are run by students like algoders, platform, shor, etc
