Best college for research and it is a great college with professor and students. Nice infrastructure and Research facilities. Institute of National Importance. These were the most factors which played a role in choosing IISER Mohali.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teacher are highly efficient, all of them are from a great background. But teaching quality is something which varies from person to person. The course curriculum is very good but the semester time period is less so kind of little difficult and more semester stress.
College Events
Campus Life is full of joy and excitement. It's nice location provide you an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful city Chandigarh. Clubs activities are organised every week. Dance classes are regular.
Campus Life
Co-ed Hostel with full Wi-Fi support and for the first 2 years two students live together in single room and from 3rd year onwards they get separate single room. Mess system available, 3 mess you can eat in any of them on pay and eat basis. Health center is there, all the sports facilites and gym is also there.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels have 8 floors (Ground+7) and lifts are there. The rooms have a big cupboard, a table with drawers, book shelf and a chair. There is a bed with mattress provided by the institute. The room is decent in size (for one person) and has a balcony attached to it. This used to be my room (Hostel 5 - 711). All the rooms in all the hostels (5, 6, 7, 8) are exactly similar.
