Own campus and own hospital has several benefits which are attracting others to join our college.this is a complete package of good hostel ,good faculty, good and advance teaching process and good practical skills. Our college is the safest and best place we feel safe where. The library is well maintained . And especially our department and teachers provide us with the best updated knowledge. Practicals are very well performed which is most important thing for a science student.
This is a 5.5 year course. The courses are neatly divided. There is yearly university examination and there are monthly tests and practicals conducted. Though the exams are frequently conducted, we do not feel any stress as we know there are a lot of people who can help us in clearing the tests.
The syllabus for all the courses is well-structured and updated. You need to have a good hold on your concepts and studies, otherwise it is tough to get through the exams. Overall, you will get exposed to all types of necessary things. However, if you are looking for some research-based studies then this institution might not be the one for you.
It was acceptable however less examination based. Fundamentally centered around sickness and treatment part. It took 5 years of hard examination beginning from life systems and afterward considering drugs and there component of activity and different medications utilized for different illnesses
It had the best medical facility in North India. It had all the super specialties needed in the hospital. The college gave grave importance to the training period and also the extra curricular to balance out the work load.
DMCH is one of the best medical college. All this years have created best memories of my life. All staff is so supportive. My all classmates also very friendly. Campus have very positive vibe. All greenery make college environment very fresh .
DMCH is amazing medical college with best staff and friendly environment. All staff is very supportive and motivating. All my classmates are very amazing. This all years in learn so much and make most amazing memories. I am so satisfied with facilities and coaching of college.
I do not have any negative remark on the overall functioning of the College. The college is capable of shaping the future of its students. They're possessing all necessary infrastructures and offer a very quite, cool atmosphere for the students.
i am doing Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery which is also known as MBBS is a professional degree to practice in the field of medicine and surgery. MBBS syllabus has been divided into a total of nine semesters
The course is less research based and is more focused on the diseases and its cure with more emphasis given on the practical part of it. We studies anatomy of human body in great detail. The exam time used to be the most tough times.

Honestly, I feel the better hospital for surgery depends on the doctor rather than just the institute. CMC Ludhiana is a charitable organization so lacks top-notch facilities like the availability of medicines within the premises. However, the dedication level of the doctors is high and the expenses are similar to other hospitals like DMC, etc. The best part about CMC Ludhiana is the doctors aren't after monetary gains but rather choose to serve the community. They dont practice medicine privately and only attend to the patients in Hospital OPD.
DMC on the other hand is run by Doctors on sales Target or Commissions. The hospital has excellent facilities and highly experienced doctors. However, sometimes the patients are recommended to undergo surgery even when it is not an emergency just to earn money. Moreover, almost every doctor here pursues private practice.
So, there is a drastic difference in the work environment of both institutes. I feel you should trust the doctor personally rather than the institute because both have good and bad cases. The treatment costs of almost all the private hospitals are similar to the government hospitals like PGI or AIIMS etc.
So choose wisely!
Both Christian Medical College CMC Ludhiana and DMCH Ludhiana are well-respected institutions for postgraduate studies in pediatrics. However, I recommend that you go for DMCH Ludhiana as it’s the most coveted medical college in Punjab owing to its top-notch infrastructure, clinical exposure, and the expertise level of faculty.
CMC Ludhiana too is an excellent medical college but the only drawback is that it’s a minority-based college so the seats in open merit are rare. It’s known to have the best Pediatrics department, so it’s an excellent choice too given that you have no financial constraints.
Lastly, I don’t think you should be choosing or evaluating colleges based on the stipend they pay. AIIMS pays the highest stipend but is that the reason it’s the dream college of many? Well, no. So it’s better to look at the bigger perspective and make a well-rounded decision.
