The application process involves applying for your choice of courses on the DU website, filling in all your educational and background details. The average of your best 4 subjects in 12th standard including one language paper is considered for the admission, the cut-off ranges from 93-99% for the general category. The details would be provided on the college website and your physical presence along with all the required documents is required at the time of admission. If you clear the cutoff of another college and wish to withdraw your admission, a refund would be provided as well.

Choosing this course instead of a BTech because of the low fee and the brand name provides you with opportunities at par with any other computer science course. Student faculty ratio for the course was roughly 1:5 with all the faculty being the best in their field, having their PhD done from IITs and some from Delhi University itself. The department head is a phenomenal man who seems to have the knowledge of everything around you! Teachers are helpful willing to take extra classes as well. Exams were conducted on time which shifted to open book tests during covid times. Memorising might not help you much to pass, thorough understanding is required.

Internship opportunities for all courses and in various fields are provided, ranging from being a management trainee, a coder, or a website developer to being a creative writer. Both paid and unpaid internships are provided.

From the end of the second year in your 5th semester, one is eligible for all the placement opportunities. One can opt for campus placements or apply to companies outside of it simultaneously. You could apply for entry positions in budding start-ups or start something of your own even with the network provided in your college.

The fee structure is 30000/yr. Being a central university, fee hike rarely occurs. The scholarship is provided to meritorious students at the end of each year. Placement society provides you with a lot of internship opportunities.

Lashkara is the annual college fest held in the month of March. It witnesses a huge crowd with a celebrity singer performance along with various competitions and performances and shows. Tech fest is organized by the computer science society organizing FIFA and other gaming competitions. The library is the most beautiful infrastructure of the college with a range of books of all genres. Classrooms have projector facilities along with air conditioning. Sports amenities like cricket, table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball, basketball etc are provided. There is a gym on the campus as well. One can find different societies for his taste including dramatics, music, fine arts, poetry, gatka, placements society etc.
