Remarks

Eligibility criteria for BSc(H) Mathematics is 12th pass from any board having mathematics in 12th. The University of Delhi releases the application form. The application form cost 100 INR. Forms were released in the month of July. Reservation is based on the caste system. There is a sports quota also. In DU admission is based on merit. An entrance exam should be conducted for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mathematics was always my favorite subject. So BSc (H) Mathematics was my dream course. There is enough teachers in college. The faculty teacher ratio is 1:10. Faculties are highly educated and well experienced. that have qualified net and most have Ph.D. degree. University conducts exam in six months. The course is divided into semesters. Semester exams are of a moderate level.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Only a few students get internships here. They get internships in companies like HCL, Wipro, TCS, etc. They get the role of a content writer, consultant, support, etc. Stiped lies generally between 7000-20000 INR per month. They get many projects in internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is fixed here.No no hike in the last few years. The fee is 8000 INR per anum. Besides this exam fees to be paid which is hardly 1000 INR per anum. Many scholarships are available here. Some are based on the financial level of students like the Saksham scholarship. Some are based on the performance level of students like inspiring scholarship. Many internships are also provided by the college.

Campus Life

College's annual fest name is LEIOTHRIXX which is conducted in the month of February. Every department conducts its own departmental fest in the winter season. All course-related books, Entrance books are available in the library of the college. Many journals are also there. Classrooms are well decorated and laced with projectors. The seats are comfortable. The classrooms are big enough. Many students from the sports quota get admission here. Every year a sports competition is held by the college. Many groups, Societies, Clubs are active in the college like debate society, dance society etc. The college has its own website too.

The placements of KIRORI MAL COLLEGE had shown a much outgrowth over the years. The students become eligible for college placements by the final year itself. My views on KMC . A final year student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course (B.Sc Hons. Mathematics ) is more focused towards descriptive and theoritical method since my course belong to pure mathematics along with that I have statistics in my generic elective (GE) which is more application based. Our course is structured more towards reseach part. Whereas the commerce and economics courses are more relevant to practical industry knowldege. The usual struture is divided into two part in each sem generally known as end and mid sem exam. Whereas there exist weekly and monthly examination which majorly depends upon the teaching style of the faculty.

Reality of a top North campus college - Kirori mal College

Placement Experience:

The placement offered in our college is decent. All the third year and fourth year students are allowed to sit in the placement process.the placement process starts from July and continue till next year's june, Top companies which visited are - D.E, Shaw , Accenture , LEK capibilities network , ZS associates. The placements of my colleges are good. The students are eligible for campus placements in their third year, during 5th and 6th semesters. There are a lot of companies that come and offer students placements, like the big 4 accounting firms, D.E. Shaw, Tres Vista, ICICI Bank, Accenture, Zomato, Amazon, etc. The highest package provided overall was 23.05 LPA by D.E. Shaw. Average Accepted Package is 10.05 LPA. Kirori mal college a nice college filled with greenery and enthusiasm

Placement Experience:

The placement in this college is good.Many companies come to the college to give placements.the students who are from fifth or sixth semester are eligible for campus selection and can sit in interviews taken by companies.The companies .like Wipro, Amazon, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, McKinsey & company, Zomato, EY, etc. come to the college.according to previous record companies provide 176 offers.The highest package offered was rupees 23.05 LPA and the average package offered was rrupees 7.25 LPA.Last year 172 students get placements via campus placement.My plan is to go for post graduation after getting this degree.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

I got admission to this college through cuet. I only applied to colleges of DU. Rather than ANDC I applied to Hansraj college of Delhi University but I did not get admission because my marks did not clear the cut off score of that college as Hansraj college is of North campus and has high cut off score.
