Life at Gargi

For admission, one has to fill the admission form which is available on the official website of DU. Post filling the form the university will release cutoffs of all the categories. one must fall under the cutoffs to get addmission to the college. You have to go to the college within 3 days. Submit all the necessary documents and your addmission is done.

I choose bsc in physical because it opens doors for various subjects for masters. Talking about faculties in Gargi, most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders and have vast knowledge about their subjects. Teachers are very supportive and friendly in nature. They complete the syllabus on time and guide the examinations. Exams are held on time and you have to study in depth to clear the examination with a good score

There are various internships provided by the placement cell. Internships in content writing etc are provided to the students who are doing their degrees you can also go and do research with your lecturer. Gargi has a research lab also you can perform various experiments with the professors to get your internship done. Gargi provides a chance to students to volunteer in the various fest and they provide certificates for the same.

Students become eligible for placement from fifth-semester various companies like KPMG, EY visit campus and provide decent placements with an average package of 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. One of my friends got placed in KPMG with the package of four lakhs per annum on the post of the analyst. After completing your graduation from the college you can directly go for placements or you can apply for Masters in various colleges in subjects like physics chemistry and mathematics or you can go for MBA also to enhance your career in the particular subject.

The fee is almost 10,000 per year. There are no extra charges. There are various scholarships available for reserved category students. Living is wuite expensive as Gargi doesn't have its own hostel. Living nearby college costs around 15000 per month including food. College does have a cafe and canteen which are very cheap. College also provides placement and internship opportunities. One of my friends got placed in KPMG with a decent package.

Campus life at Gargi is amazing. There are various activities every week. Diwali fest and annual fests are amazing. Various celebrities perform in college. Various brands and cafes set up their stalls in the groud. It's a fun day of the year where you can participate in various activities. Gargi has a huge library where you will get each and every book. I have not purchased a single book in my college days. Lecture halls have ac and projectors. There are various sports in the college like, NCC, basketball, cricket, etc. there are various societies in the college like dance, singing, art and craft, marketing, placement cell.
