LSR have all qualities whether infrastructure or faculty, placements & internships. A lot of big companies come here for placements & internships. Cafe of LSR provided good quality & wide variety of foods. LSR has one of the biggest library in DU with over 1 lakh books in each library. Also faculty members as well as seniors are very helpful here.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Bcom(Hons.) because there has wide career scope after graduating with this course. Also, there are good placement opportunities for Bcom(H) students along with som other courses like eco(hons.).All faculty members teaches very well & they believe in practical knowledge too.
Internships Opportunities
The internships segment of the LSR's Placement Cell expanded in scope in 2020-21, where they not only invited a number of reputed firms such as Bank of America, JSW, and Citi Bank to conduct recruitment processes on campus but also hosted a number of new companies such as Fischer Jordan, DE Shaw, Reckitt Benckiser, etc. The Cell furthermore provided students fellowship opportunities with organizations like the Teach for India, Young India, India fellow and various competitions like ZS Case Competition, KPMG Ideation Challenge, while also introducing community services geared volunteering and internship initiatives with organizations such as Mahika Mishra Foundation, Moolya Foundation, CovEd India, etc. The highest stipend was offered by Hindustan Unilever, recruiting for finance, of 1.5 lakhs per month to two students. Average internship stipend amount reached a high of INR 18500 per month for paid internship offers.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from their final years. Around 165 companies visited our campus to offer full-time positions and 193 students were placed last year. We invited industry giants like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, EY, DE Shaw, Accenture, Citibank among others to recruit our students for a variety of profiles and roles. The placement roles ranged from consultancy to banking and financial services, human resources, financial research to content writing. The highest Placement Offer in 2020-21 is INR 37.8 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think the fee structure in 1st year was a little bit more. In 1st year the fee was around? 21,000 for my course. But in pandemic college cut the fee to more than half & charged only around 8000 in 2nd year & around 10,000 in the final year. They also provide scholarship programs.
Campus Life
Campus life is full of enjoyment & learning. There held a lot of fests of different departments throughout the year. Also, college organizes various workshops for enhancing our knowledge in different fields. There are a lot of societies in LSR providin5 great opportunities to students.
