Remarks

4 Years of Graduation degree along with a minimum work experience of 1 year. Application form is available at www.mdi.ac.in. There is no reservation in this college. More weightage should be given to the profile after clearing the CAT cutoff.

Course Curriculum Overview

Internation Exposure along with a MiM degree from ESCP Business School (Ranked 7th worldwide). There's a faculty for every 6 students. The faculties are very competent and the exams conducted are rigorous and test the overall understanding of the subject.

Please consult the placement report available on the company websites. The top recruiters are RIL, Everest Group, ABG, Google, Microsoft, Delloite, and many more. Cannot share the details of the projects and the tasks.

Placement Experience

For IB Program, a summer internship is in Europe. The final placements are conducted jointly along with the Core and HR program and the placements are among the best offered in the country with top firms from all sectors visiting the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are fair. The only recommendation is the college should bear the VISA and the travel costs as it puts an additional burden upon the students. Also, the VISA process should be handled by the college.

Haven't been able to visit the campus till now due to COVID restrictions. But, as far as I have heard from the seniors, the college has all the required infrastructure and amenities. There are Many CnCs run by the student's Council.

Interview Experience

No GD was conducted. The interview revolved around current affairs and some technical questions from the Graduation stream. Also, there were some questions related to work experience. I followed the StudyIQ channel for current affairs and revised my graduation subjects.

Best college for MBA in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR).

Placement Experience:

Almost 650% of students land a PPO with the companies they intern at. For the others, the Placement Cell does an amazing job of lining up companies for campus recruitment. The highest package recorded has been 16 LPA with an average revolving around around 6 LPA. I think it's reliable placement scenario and we are given enough training to do our best in the interviews.

The curriculum combines the theory as well as practical subjects. The course includes projects and assignements based on the different tools like excel, Power BI, Python, SQL. The course assignments and projects take place in the end of the trimesters for most of the subjects which make it quite hectic to submit them for some subjects overlapping each other.

I chose MDI Gurgaon over XLRI Delhi, IIM Shillong, new and baby IIMS, NITIE - PGDSM. The reason for choosing MDI was its proximity to my hometown, Tier 1 status. I was rejected from IIM ABCLKI and FMS - Delhi mostly on the basis of my undergrad scores and a CAT percentile which was not high enough. Internship in ABG !!

You need to appear in the CAT exam. Any percentile over 90%ile with a sectional of 70 70 70 cleared will fetch you a call from MDI Gurgaon. However, to convert core, 96+ is a safe score for non-engg and 98.5+ for GEM. After you get a shortlist, you'll have to appear and fill out a form which MDI-G will send and you can edit your details there. Further, you'll get a PI date.
