Remarks

The NMAT process is the best and industry leading. There is no scope of improvement. It's totally online and computerized. The only thing that can be improved is related to fees of the online test. I gave this test around 2017 and it costed around 1900/-.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams were timely and were never rescheduled. Even during covid times, exams were taken through online portals. The difficulty of exams is on the higher side. Passing the exams needs proper preparation even in online mode.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Two types of internships were compulsory for the students: management internships & technical Internships. Mostly technical Internships were unpaid while management internships were paid in the range of 1000 - 40000.

Placement Experience

4.5

90% + students in our batch got placed in spite of the covid situation. The average placements revolved around 7-8LPA with highest going till 20 LPA & lowest at 6.25 LPA. Most of the students got placed in big 4 consulting firms.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not apply for a scholarship as most of the students in NMIMS come from a good background. College did provide Management Internships based on students' performance in internships. My MIP was paid in form of a stipend of 10,000.

Campus Life

There are lots of social groups, clubs & websites run by the students & committees. IETE was one of them. Every engineering & MBA branch has its own committee and group. Clubs like library clubs, sports clubs are also present.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel of the college is the only drawback. I lived in the GR JANI hostel with the college campus in Vile Parle West. It was very overpriced at that time. The fees for Non-AC rooms were around 240000 per annum and the AC rooms went to 360000 per annum.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

All BTech and MTech students can apply for offcampus placement if required but there sufficient oncampus placements and almost all students get placed.Companies visiting for computer and IT are tcs, infosys, capgemini, cognisant, Nvidia, IBM, etc Total 42 offers were made computer branch and 52 offers for IT branch. The percentage of placements is 80%.

MPSTME HONEST COLLEGE REVIEW FROM A FY STUDENT.

Admission process is merit based , based on the NMIMSCET for engineering students , The branch allotment and upgradation is again merit based during orientation. All About MPSTME

There are very less colleges in mumbai having civil engineering. This college is one of the best considering the infrastructure international linkage etc.I applied for Vjti and spit except this college.I choose this college over them because of the industry exposure and the connections internationally.I dis make into the other colleges in cet cap round but i wanted this college in specific because i found it more benificial with the amount of things it had to offer in this course over the others.After you give the entrance exam of the college you get your result mailed to you which has your merit number with that you get a counselling letter which has a date and time in it on which you have to take a demand draft of the course you want to the college then you go verify your documents and the you go and tell your preference to the councilor if you have the seat available in the course tou want they give you admission or they give you an option to be added to other branch for upgradation...Read More
