Entrance Preview

AIEEE was the exam I took, in which I got 28068 All India rank. I opted UIET for its reputation and fun life, and also due to the fact that it is a part of one of the most prestigious universities in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum is quite advanced (except few exceptions). New subjects are added to the curriculum to make sure that the students don't miss the technologies and concepts emerging in the computer's field.

Internships Opportunities

Although job placement is good at UIET, not many companies come to our college for the internship. Almost negligible I must say. Applying for internship is student's job.

Placement Experience

When it comes to software field, UIET has a lot to offer. Although the packages offered are not that high (ranging from 3 to 7LPA). Deloitte, ZS Associate, Infosys, Aricent, Nagarro are some of the good companies which hire students from UIET. Almost every computer science student gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't heard of any scholarship / loan facility offered at our college. I think 100 characters validations should not have been applied to all the fields.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is also good. Seniors are glad to help in any kind of situation. For me as an instance, I got consistent support from my seniors when I needed to clear my confusion regarding future studies.

Admission

In the first round of admission, online applications were accepted. In this round, I wasn't able to secure a seat in UIET. During the final round, Chandigarh level admission process was conducted in Punjab Engineering College, in which I was able to get a seat in IT department of the college.

Faculty

Most of the faculty in UIET is quite qualified and helpful. I've always got a high level of guidance from the teacher when it comes to creating my projects. On the other hand, there are very few inexperienced teachers too. Learning from these teachers is very challenging. But I really appreciate the effort they made to give their best to share the knowledge they have.

Great exposure, Learning and Placements at CU- A well rounded experience

Placement Experience:

I am a recent graduate in computer science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i took admission in CU just because of their excellent placements for the computer science students and what i feel is during my journey they provide i'll not say 100% placements that they guys claimed but yes the placement is really good. the average package is of 7-8 lpa and they offered placements globally like in hyderabad, pune, banglore, noida that are considered as best places to work in IT sector. but in my last year i.e 4th year i have been offered a position of software engineer intern in gurugram and that was off campus so i grabbed that opportunity. and there is one policy of chandigarh university if you opt for off campus placement then you get debarred from the TPP campus placements of chandigarh university and you will not be able to sit in the campus placements of chandigarh university. rest overall the campus placement is good.

The Life in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

The placement is the one of the strongest region in this college. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. From 4th semester,there is placement training program which makes students get ready for interviews, tests in placements. There are prominent companies who visited our college like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered by a company is Rs. 54LPA and average placement is Rs.8LPA. 90% of eligible students gets placements. My plans after degree is to study MBA and get into entrepreneurship and business.

UIET Panjab University Chandigarh College, Hostel and Campus review

After 6th sem companies start visiting the campus. In 2023, 85 companies visited but this time the no. is double. Amex kpmg delloite paytm zs associates etc visits here. Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, we are eligible for placements. many multinational companies visited for placement such as Amazon, Google, Wipro and many more. The highest package is 36 lack per anum. Around 600 companies offer placement on campus every year.

A TRUSTED COLLEGE FOR A SAFE FUTURE

Placement Experience:

The campus offers good placement in amazon and other high digital online platforms. The placement completely depends on the rank of the students. Many companies such as Amazon and Birla group have visited the college. They also offer good jobs abroad with attractive salaries. Mostly in a year almost 30% of students are placed in job by the college itself. Rest 50% will surely get jobs in good companies if they have good academic statistics. After getting the degree, I would like to get job in foreign country like America and would like to settle there as the college also offers job in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was ready to choose btech course (civil engineering ).collage faculty was more than i expected. Collage was more friendly. As in the case of students was very good at college. And also our teachers are more friendly in studies and helping the students in studies.During the examination our teachers works well. And they are able to make the students to score good marks. Collage conduct exams as 4 sections in a year.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location. UIET , Chandigarh College Review

I got around 85000 rank in jee mains . It was one of the best option for me considering its ranking and structure. It is a government college and is under Panjab University campus ,hence it has all the facilities and is well connected. Life is good here .
