Remarks

First of all, you need to crack Webjee (within a rank of 25,000) or Jee Mains (within a rank of 1lakh), and register for councelling, where you need to choose the college with desired stream according to your order of preference. After allotment of seats, pay the fees and thats it!!

Course Curriculum Overview

Personally belonging to CSE department, I would like to emphasise on the stream I belong to. There are a total of 180 students which extends to 200 or 210 by the next year due to the entry of students through transfer and lateral entry in second year. The teachers are highly qualified, and always ready to help you to their level best. There might be some teacher who seems to be a bit of extravagant, but overall the faculty can be assured to be of a good level. Within a period of every two moths, an internal Exam isbeing conducted by the college. Other than that quizes and assignments will go hand in hand.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 92000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee structure till 4th year exclusive of the hostel and canteen fees can be estimated upto 3.6 to 4 lakhs. Until now i haven't faced any hike in the fees. No scholarship facility is being provided by our college.

Campus Life

Due to the pandemic situation, public gatharing is not allowed. But once everything goes good, you can definitely enjoy yourself with your friends. Our colleges provides us with a big Library with a large collection of books. Our college also facilitates us with for sports and physical activities. Our college also organises a grand Cultutral Fest along with some minor events.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
