A better college in West Bengal under MAKAUT

I applied few more colleges for studying CSE, but as a peer review and my rank didn't allow me to any other famous college but as a rising college AOT is very famous in Hooghly district for its placements record and teaching quality, so I opted for it.I also lucky to chance for studying in this college because a maximum of 180 seats is allocated for CSE at AOT. Admission takes place on basis of the preferable rank obtained on WBJEE or JEE Mains.

I am in the CSE department so, I tell better about the CSE branch. Around 18 teachers are allocated for the CSE department. The teachers are well-qualified but as well all know some teachers are extravagant but overall the faculty is very good. An internal examination will be conducted by the college every 2 intervals.

The internship is available from the 4th or 5th sem for career development. Projects will give by their subject teacher and get help from the seniors as well as the teacher for completing any project. If you do work hard then U can get the results.

The placement is quite good actually. I heard that overall 95% of students are placed every year in different branches. I am in CSE, so placement in CSE is very good. Companies that visited us were TCS , WIPRO , INFOSYS , CAPGEMINI , ORACLE , AMAZON , etc.

The fees per semester are around 50,000. 40,000 for academic purposes and 10,000 for soft skills. There are many scholarships facilities for the students which is obtained from various tests conducted in the college.

In this Covid situation fest , get together, crowd are not allowed but yes after ending of this pandemic situation you can definitely enjoy with your friends in the college campus. There is a huge library and have a huge book collection in there. On the college campus there has a big playground and also annual sports are conducted by college. The annual fest that takes place is known as Arcadia where everyone has to participate in any of the events.
