Remarks
There was an entrance test for which you had to apply separately from the college website. They would then take half the marks you scored in the interview and half your 12th board's percentage then release the cutoff for the aggregate score. Once you clear the cutoffs, you would be called for the interview which is basically a mere formality.
Course Curriculum Overview
The way my college managed to conduct term exams always on time has been extremely commendable. Even during covid times when the offline classes have been sabotaged, they started the session late online and still managed to complete the syllabus on time and conducted the exams on time. The exam pattern is tough, questions asked are mostly application based and not so lenient checking is done.
Internships Opportunities
Many internships are offered on the campus as well. I didn't apply for one but I know people who got to do internships in firms like DE Shaw, Ey, Deloitte. The stipend they offer ranges from 5000-10000 per month and many other companies also recruit interns offering less than 5k or even unpaid.
Placement Experience
The campus provides amazing placement opportunities, more than any other college can, for this course. A company named DE Shaw even offered 23 LPA to students but only 3 managed to clear. Companies such as Accenture and Axxela were among those offering 10+ LPA. Many other companies offered in the range of 6-8 lakhs and the minimum package offered was 3 lakhs. The average placement must be somewhere in the range of 5-7 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is although a little high, but it's worth it. I am not aware of any scholarship opportunities present in this college, but if you can somehow manage to afford the fees, it's going to be worth it. Highly qualified teachers are there and everyone is extremely cooperative. You can ask your doubts anytime. The campus placement is amazing. The average placement for my course must be somewhere between 5-7 LPA.
Campus Life
There are many societies for students to join. They can garner amazing experience and also some CV boosting opportunities by getting involved in organizing different kinds of events. There is a sports club, an entrepreneurship development cell, a placement cell (the one that manages the placement drive), a Xavier's Management Society (XMS) for conducting events exclusively for bms students (some are open for all though), and Xavier's commerce society(XCS), same as XMS but for commerce. Other clubs include literary clubs, dance clubs, etc.
Interview Experience
I didn't actually want a job as I said I wanted to apply for further education. But there was one company, named axxela, in which I considered applying and got through all the rounds but an interview. There was two aptitude test, the first one was easier and the second a little more difficult. Next was a trading round where people had to trade among each other and make profits. I got rejected in the interview where they asked mostly puzzles and speed math questions.
