Computer Science and Engineering is the best branch. These days software engineers are required by every company. The placement record of this branch is excellent. Our director, Prof. KK Shukla was originally the director of NIT Allahabad, which is a great institute and after his appointment the institute has shown magnificent growth.

Yes, I am in my 3rd yr and I have got an on campus internship at Standard Chartered Bank. I'll be joining as a software engineer at Bangalore in May 2022. Stipend is 40k per month for two months and a 30k relocation allowance.

Companies come for internships in 3rd year and for placement in 4th year. This year highest package is 35 lakh by Intuit, last year it was 43 lakh by Microsoft. Though the % of students getting an intern is less, the placement numbers are great!

Yes, I have opted for a hostel. Our hostels are great especially boys hostel where two boys get a room in 1st year but 2nd yr onwards they get an individual room. For girls there were a few problems as 3 girls had to share a room in 1st yr but now 2 more hostels have been arranged for girls so the problem is solved.

No, there was no Group discussion or interview for admission. One only needs to crack JEE with a good rank and get the college in the JOSAA counseling.
