There are some question which are really helpful to the students who want to take admission in Nit jamshedpur

* I applied for 1. Nit Jamshedpur 2 .IISc shivpur, 3. Nit Durgapur I choose NIT jsr because the metallurgy branch is extremely good as compared to other colleges I chose. The placement statistics is also better than the college's, I not attending. Yes, I belong to OBC but other states There are no age criteria but the minimum mark for obc candidate is 75 %(overall as well as in PCM also) in 12th boards. I simply fill the slot in JoSAA & from there I booked.

I choose Metallurgy & material science because from 9th class I had the interest to explore the elements and their properties. All the faculty who teaches us are PHD qualified & have tremendous teaching skills, also Some professor teaches very professionally. In one semester we have two exam's in a 2 to 2.5 months time gap of 30 and 50 marks respectively and also one practical exam of 20 marks at the end of the semester.

There are too many companies that offer internship programs. From non- tech to tech, teaching almost in all fields we are offered to the internship program. The stipend totally depends on the work profile which we opt for.

Our college placement is too good it is counted in top Nit's. From 6 semesters the students are eligible for campus placements. There are more than 25 companies are coming to our campus and the total offers are more than 620 every year. As in the 2021 year, the highest package is 39 lakhs per annum offered by Amazon, and the average package was 9.18 lakhs per annum. In 2021, more than 92% of students are placed. To do the job in tata steel.

The tuition fee is 62500. As I belong from Obc and my family income is between 1 lack to 5 lacs, so on my tuition fee, 2/3rd fees are remitted. And there is no other scholarship to which I have applied.

Tech fest and ojaas are some of our fests in Nit. There are too many books available in the library of our course and out of course also like a life changing Novels like ( Think and grow rich, The 5 Am club etc. ). Our classroom is fully AC and also a smart podium along with projector is given. There are two many sports to play on our campus from outdoor sports to indoor sports like cricket, football, hockey, chess etc. Two clubs are socially linked like Sankalp is a club where the students of Nit teaches the poor students from a different village. UBA is also a club in which students go through village's and convey their problems along with solutions to the Government body.

The Hostel rooms are very clean, there is the providence of a fan, table, chair, almirah, bed. The meals are very healthy and the quality is too good, and the taste is so yummy At the time of admission, the registration of hostel is also done No, I do not take any room.
