Due to Covid IMUCET was not conducted in year 2020, selection on the basis of 12th board marks and min marks was 60% . Firstly if one is selected for the course then he/she should pay 25000for their seat allotment and their preferred course, college according to their preference. Then if they get the college they should further proceed with the admission.

I choose this course because I want to serve my country as I wasn't selected in NDA so I decided to join the merchant navy and join as an engineer. I think the student's faculty ratio is good as it is a central government college so they do not compromise with the future of India. Each faculty member is a part of the ship with an experience of more than 15years and then they have a lot of experience Of teaching. As IMU-CET is a really tuff exam but in the year 2020 selection was made on the basis of 12th board marks as I got 90.8percent so I got my preferred course and college too.

Many companies come for an interview and give internships, gives training as well as Stipend. They use to train us as well as get their work done at low cost with more efficient way as we need is to focus on that and get the job permanent.

From 3rd year you are eligible for campus placement. Fleet management, NYK ship management, chevron shipping Ltd, many more with an average salary of 6to 9lakh let Annum. Around 80% of students get placed in the college. I want to join a shipping company as a third engineer and want to become a chief engineer.

In Btech marine engineering 8semesters are their even semester 1lakh and in odds semesters 1.25lakh. In each semester the one who stood first in the college will get 100% scholarships and the first 60candidates will get 50000each. Bank near campus is ready to give loan and placement is around 80%

TEMPEST is the annual fest held every year on the campus in December. There is a huge library with varieties of books and you can read at any time. The classroom is well evacuated as well as well furnished with fans and lights as well as a big blackboard to keep a good relationship between teacher and students as a smart class does not give that focus which a blackboard can give. Sports is the main activity in our college as at 6am fallin we have to run, drill, stretch our body. As you can participate in any sports you wish.

Rooms are well cleaned and large enough to accommodate 4students with beds and their respective wardrobe. As it is a government institute so the hostel is compulsory for every student. This only makes the student a perfect cadet and an engineer to survive at sea. Meal quality is too good as you can take as much as the quantity you need ND with different items one different day's nonveg as well as veg. Registration of hostel for college is not necessary as it is compulsory for all students to take hostel..
