Remarks
Just like all other colleges of Delhi University, Aryabhatta College followed all norms and procedures. Its cut-offs were adequate- not too low to be replaced with an evening college, neither too high to be skipped for a better one. The faculty was really helpful throughout, and you can always expect to meet new puzzled faces everywhere during these times. The administration is quite slow, but so is the case with almost every Delhi university college!
Course Curriculum Overview
I was very specific about the course, B.Com. Honours ever since I cleared my schooling. Not only does it open ways to a lot of explorable career options, but it also offers an extensive approach on a lot of subjects, and obviously a better weight of degree than a normal B.Com. program. It might not be a big deal in many parts of the country, but Delhi University surely treats them better. The faculty student ratio was poor. To say the least, the faculty was sometimes not even capable of handling such a crowd. Given the number of students, it was also sometimes difficult to concentrate if you got distracted. The course was, although, very well designed. And honestly, I learnt a lot.
Internships Opportunities
There have been opportunities to intern with a lot of great companies though. Just last month, there was Marquee Equity with an investment banking fellowship and a stipend of 10,000 per month. Companies like KPMG, Accenture, P&G also might visit.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is something that no one would complain about. As Delhi University has been known, the charges are around 13,000 yearly for this course for a general student without any financial aid. I am sure that scholarships and aids were available.
Campus Life
This is THE best part of aryabhatta college - its crowd. It might not be very known for it, but Aryabhatta has given me the experiences of a lifetime, and they did not come from a classroom. The societies, the fests, the unions and even the clubs are something that connects so many like minded people that you would never want to leave the campus! There is something for every person. Honestly, it has one of the best and most happening crowds on the south campus.
