Remarks

I chose PGHR in this college because MDI is among the top 3 colleges in India for the human resource course. A lot of activities are organised in our college. There are good opportunities in terms of b-school.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has the best faculty member who has published research publications in major journals. They were the retired lecture from IITs and IIMS. The student to faculty ratio is about 15.1. The course curriculum has advanced topics such as HR analytics and fintech etc.

the entire senior and junior batch got placed in the campus placement. the placement is maximum completed in two days. The average salary package offer was around 19 LPA. the average stipend offered was around 10.8.

Placement are very good nat our college. Almost entire batch gets placed within 2-3 days in many reputed companis. average salary provide was 19-20 lacs per annum whereas the highest went upto 41 LPA. gorbrej, ITC, KPMG, etc. Visit our campus for placement process.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course for the first year was rupees 120000 and second year I was paid rupees 110000. The average salary offered was around 21 lacs with the highest being over 35 lacs. At the end of the second year MDI award five merit scholarships of INR 10000/- each to the top five students.

imperium and Illumina are the two major fests celebrated in our college. every year two fests named imperium and Illumina are celebrated in our college. the college organises events like Illumina and imperium.

Interview Experience

The candidate must apply for, appear in and score the minimum required cut off percentile in CAT. candidate should register and apply for admission to mdi. candidates are short-listed for the GDPI WAT round from among the candidate.

Best college for MBA in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR).

Placement Experience:

Almost 650% of students land a PPO with the companies they intern at. For the others, the Placement Cell does an amazing job of lining up companies for campus recruitment. The highest package recorded has been 16 LPA with an average revolving around around 6 LPA. I think it's reliable placement scenario and we are given enough training to do our best in the interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum combines the theory as well as practical subjects. The course includes projects and assignements based on the different tools like excel, Power BI, Python, SQL. The course assignments and projects take place in the end of the trimesters for most of the subjects which make it quite hectic to submit them for some subjects overlapping each other.

GLIM Placements start from the beginning of 2nd year as till then we are also done with our intenrships. Also, placements here are lesser than that of Chennai but still median of GLIM is around 15 lakhs which is much better than other B-Schools of NCR.

Since my CAT percentile was quite less, 96, and being from a top NIT, I wanted to get into a B-School which could complement my NIT tag, while my fream was a tier - 1 college, my percentile shut all doors. I chose MDI Gurgaon over XLRI Delhi, IIM Shillong, new and baby IIMS, NITIE - PGDSM. The reason for choosing MDI was its proximity to my hometown, Tier 1 status. I was rejected from IIM ABCLKI and FMS - Delhi mostly on the basis of my undergrad scores and a CAT percentile which was not high enough. You need to appear in the CAT exam. Any percentile over 90%ile with a sectional of 70 70 70 cleared will fetch you a call from MDI Gurgaon. However, to convert core, 96+ is a safe score for non-engg and 98.5+ for GEM. After you get a shortlist, you'll have to appear and fill out a form which MDI-G will send and you can edit your details there. Further, you'll get a PI date.
