Course Curriculum Overview

Academic: Excellent Research: With No Argue, Best in India (Rank 11 All over world for citation per faculty) Campus: Natural Beauty Course Structure: Almost every course have term project and tonns of assignment. Which helps student to learn the course from very practical point of view. Their is huge involvement of research oriented projects.

Internships Opportunities

Yes all GATE qualified students are entitled to get Stipend. Yes Summer internship is provided to Undergrads.

Placement Experience

Placement is over all good. All major IT, manufacturing, R&D, PSU visit to campus for placements for ME/Mtech, MDes & PHD students.

Subject taken by faculty belong to their specialized area. Generally they used their own materials, books and research work to teach subjects.

Positive remark is we can explore so many things under single roof. They provide us HEALTH INSURANCE which is only benefits in their SAGAR hospital. Negative is little bit expensive when compared to other colleges. What ever This is my college and I'm proud of it.

Fun environment, Serious Studies.

Remarks:

The management is good and is always responsive to the student needs. A lot of the things in the college is student run so there is less interaction of ordinary students with the management. Every thing is done through the SAC (Students Activity Committee).

I applied to IISER Kolkata and got accepted. The choice was governed by IISc having a better ranking and being further away from home. No. I did not apply to any other colleges. Right now, officially, the two entry exams are JEE-Adv and IAT. In the past, KVPY, JEE-M and NEET were also options. IISC Bangalore Experience

IISC Banglore piqued my interest because the college M.Tech program fee is also quite reasonable and the placement is excellent.
