One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location. I got around 85000 rank in jee mains . It was one of the best option for me considering its ranking and structure. It is a government college and is under Panjab University campus ,hence it has all the facilities and is well connected. Life is good here . Also uiet placement record is also better than most of the colleges i was getting at this rank . So these all things led me to choose uiet over any other college ....Read More
