Remarks

I got admission to IIM Lucknow this year. Thought the main reasons were-it provides you quite flexibility, you are not under the financial burden. So the financial freedom offers, the fee structure is one of the primary reasons. Secondly, FMS told in the earlier part that it encourages students to collaborate. So, the learning is very constructive and helps you to in real business. Also, we need to work together with employees. So, FMS talked about it and hostels that very approach to working. The third is situated in Delhi, you get to work on serious life projects and also most of the big companies are here. So, you can work on various interesting projects so, these are the three reasons why I chose FMS Delhi.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course structure is very useful and aligns with the industrial requirement. So, in the first semester, we have a human behavioural course that tries to focus on improving the managers capability to fulfil the expectations of the employee. Also, we have few courses like operation management that focuses on improving the activity of the organization. Also, we got introduced to financial accounting which is very new to me but the manner in which they taught us was very nuked and simple so that, the listeners can also understand the terms. So, we were handed those courses, also we got introduced to economics in the first semester itself. One of the very needs is for experiential learning. We are encouraged to see real-life examples. Also, there are life projects where we work on during the course of an hour, semester education. Though it helps us to align as per industrial requirement, and with the current trend which is very useful in learning and grabbing the concept like when we read the theory and visit the practical environment. So, that is, one of the very depicting features of it. We are not made to compete with each other but we are given a chance to collaborate the features and working together with friends in the projects and life projects. So, these are the two distinguishing features.

Internships Opportunities

5

This year, we had 100% summer internships again. The highest package was INR 2.41 lakhs for two months which was a 5% increase from last year. There was also a 43% increase in the E-commerce IPN official role. Around 18% of the students are hired in consulting and general management only. While 12% are offered to finance role.

Placement Experience

5

Yes FMS Delhi has recently reinforced the position of top MBA colleges in India. It achieves 100% placements. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic with the highest package is INR 58.8 Lakhs. Also, the largest numbers of students receive the PPOs and 36% has increased in the number of product management offer made on the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is INR 1.90 lakhs. You are also required to pay the member association fee which is a very small sum. It covers all the extracurricular activities that we have in our colleges like the various societies that are run by the student?Ûªs body. Apart from that, we have to bear our own living expenses but since this year the classes are online, so that cost has been cut.

Campus Life

2.5

Yeah, I live in Noida so I had the luck to visit the campus and I really like the ambience there. It is a small but very warm and welcoming campus. We have various societies like the cultof for all the cultural activities, consulting clubs, the various clubs related to the academic club, finance club, HR society. We also have an oratory club, dance and music club, that keeps the interest of the students and help them to improve their soft skills. So, we have a fest committee which organizes the annual cultural management and sports stuff.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

So being the classes conducted online mode, we are not availing the hostel facility but we do have the rooms in DU Hostels. We have the liberty of availing them. Some of my friends are also in the PG and flats nearby.

Admission

I had around three PI. So first was the CAP round which was for all the BB IIM and new IIMs. So there was on one to one personal interaction for 10 minutes. They asked me about my work experiences that I have 41 months?Ûª work experiences with the State Bank of India and De cemetery products. So my interview was fully based on that. I was asked to elaborate on my contribution to the organization in 4 years. Then I had my interview with IIM Lucknow where I was asked concepts related to manufacturing. I had my B. Tech in that and there were some questions of statistics also. The third interview was HGSOM where I was asked in detail about the credit policy of the State Bank of India. So, there was also an interview by NITI. They give a question and there asked to reply to a comment in 10 minutes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The law department's faculty members are highly qualified, and their teaching methods are commendable. They are extremely hardworking, and they go out of their way to give us a lot of exposure by taking us to the supreme court, high court, Dwarka district court, parliament, and other places. They frequently have several sessions with honorable justices from various courts. Our teachers put in a lot of effort and try their hardest to keep our standards to NLUs when it comes to organizing MUNS to national moot court competition.
