Remarks

The first reason was ROI. The return of investment is pretty high in FMS. You get great placement offers for barely and money. The second would the location. Being in Delhi, multiple companies come to college which might not be going in other campuses in our country. The third reason would be the vibe of Delhi. Im living here for last six years.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Most of the faculties are pity good. There is however, one issue that FMS has little bit less number of facilities. But this year, the strength is also increased. So, the number of faculty is lower than it. Otherwise, the permanent faculties are fine. But given the infrastructure limitation of FMS, there are many guests faculty that have to be brought in to cover the syllabus. Most of them are officers so; they would have done PhD in their respective field.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The summer internship is generally an apprentice process. Anyone can get anything. It is a good idea as well. People can experience multiple things. They have a chance to improve their final role. This year, the maximum placements were from Amazon. Amazon hired a lot. Amazon has a new facility opening. Other than that, they were decreased in Finance and marketing roles but operations have been increased.

Placement Experience

4.5

The final placements in FMS have been 100%. There are really been great. Last year records also have broken the record of this year. Most of the companies coming to campus from marketing roles. Also called marketing maker. Most of the fresher get in marketing. They have been increased in operations and supplies as well. Placement team talks to companies and coordinates with them. They are responsible for the placement process of the college. They coordinate with the companies, inviting them to the campus, conducting their processes and final placement undertaken.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This year, the things are going online so, supplementary expenses are really decreased for most people including me. The expenses have been college expenses. In our college, there is a student body, so they also charge. Their fee is not required in official record payments. Other than that, we were in a campus; they surely would have been expenses of longings and all. The living expenses, the food expenses, all of these things would have incurred. Now, all the things are online, so those things are not there.

Campus Life

2

The program is online. I hope it open soon for the second year. But I have not seen the campus yet. The interaction is done by zoom or Google meet. The interaction with a friend has really decreased drastically as many I thought as a year ago. Many sources have come up Zoom, Google meets, are great platforms for doing that. People do collaborate on projects and different events. The issue has been there for sports. Still, the sports society has done a fantastic job. They conduct the things that can be done online. They conduct debates about sports and events. The physical part of sports really can?Ûªt be done. But whatever that can be done is being done by society.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is not available but most of the students live in nearby PG and hostel available. So, there are many hostels available in Delhi where people can live.

Admission

So, most of all MBA colleges go for the GD-PI process. Most of them have some managerial kind of topics but some soft topics as well. I remembered being in a GD in the parallel of IFT. The topic was Is India constitution supremacy or Parliament supremacy? So these kinds of problems are more like a UPSC aspirant kind in the GD. But other than that, the normal GD?Ûªs were also there about the banking sector, about the automobile industry and so what steps should be taken to improve those things. The PI process was also similar. Starting with my introduction and what I do? Also, what I have done with the things I have studied in engineering. What are my final goals- long term and short term?

Placement Experience:

See in my course, students are not that much focused on placement! They are more focused on things like upsc, govt jobs, academics, professors, further MBA! So I do not know about the placement culture! But for someone who wants placement in GIS field there is a placement cell for geography department as well!

If seen, students become eligible for placement sitting in the third year but there are many types of internships in the post second year which you can do. The college has its own placement cell, you can join it and from there you can stay connected with the placements. There are many companies which visit the college. Job fairs are also organised in the college. Many companies, international and national, visit. Along with this, education fairs are also organised inside the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.
