ALL ABOUT IIM KASHIPUR

No, specifically I haven't received any counselling related to IIM Kashipur or other IIM institutes. But the first advantage I saw was there were a lot of industries visit the IIM Kashipur campus. IIM Kashipur is known for the big industry setup out fair. So you get a chance to explore those and the campus is a plus part. So that was the two main reasons I chose IIM Kashipur over other B schools.

Most of the faculties have their PHDs and scholars from abroad. They are very good at what they teach and what they ask us to learn. About the examination part, we have two types of exams in every term- one is midterm and the other is post-midterm. So basically for a two-year program, you have to appear two times for exams. Certainly, for the period of time, there are many assignments, and quizzes which you have appeared and will examine for that.

So there is a variety of roles. If you are from an architect background, you would get the opportunity to go into real estate. You can choose whatever you interested marketing, finance, anything. So whatever interests you, there is ample opportunities and roles are available there. For companies, there is Cisco, Jio, etc. also, Google and Microsoft are invited.

The fee structure is very transparent like you get to know what you are seeing. There is a proper structure for a fee available at the IIM kashipur website only. You can see what you want like library fee, book fee, hostel fee all of the things are mentioned on it. There is a food part which you need to be calculated separately. There are scholarships that the institution provides them. I think there are three types of scholarships. One is merit-based; fee-based and the other are people who belonged to backward classes. So there is some coup for them.

Students need not worry about what will be the extra curriculum activities. There would be ample opportunities are there for you. Students can explore this if they want to. I would say that every day there is some activities you can perform. Or the social life, it is very organized like there is a set of rules which make you socialized even when you don't want to. So that would be my review about social life. Also, I haven't visited the campus yet, so I can't but it seems to be very good what I heard from my colleagues. Their experience is very good on the campus.

Food quality is a very good type. They offer a variety of food for you at breakfast, lunch, dinner. Even one of my colleague said that it is like marriage food. You can think how it goes off. It is a new campus and everything is much maintained and though Kashipur experience is good. There is proper ventilation and coolest systems build up. So, there is a proper infrastructure that student can want.

It was like same as they don't have separate WAT- PI processes. The IIMs have a common admission process. It is called WAT. WAT is the only process for all these colleges. It was very thorough, you get to know what are instructions and at the time of process or interview or for WAT. It was very basic. Basic questions were asked. The topic was also very general. You don't need to worry about the tough topics, etc.
