Nit jsr experience

I applied for Vellore institute of technology also there I was getting cse but I opt for nitjsr mech because nitjsr has its brand value which will be helpful in future. I availed the quota of Obc-Ncl and my home state. In NITs, 50% of seats are reserved for home state students. For admission, You have to Give the jee exam and after that, You have to apply for josaa counselling. For nitjsr You have to score nearly 95%ile.

As everyone knows every institute have some good and bad professors.No doubt professors are well knowledged but sometimes they dont show dedication. I chose mechanical enjr. Because I use to have interest in cars and engines. In a year you guys will have 4 exams 2 midterms and 2 endsems. In the endsems, you will have viva also for the practicals exams.

Many companies come for internships as the college is near the industrial area. The stipend is based on the company and your branch.Tata is a major recruiter for placements and internships here. you will get the core and both internships here.The internship rate is around 80%. Some students are not able to get .civil branch placements are a little bit weak rest all branch has a good record of placements.

Placements depend on a branch. if you will cse branch then the average goes 15+ and highest around 40 and it goes little less when you will see lower branches. cse,ece,eee and mech have 100% placement. Many companies visit the college as the college is near an industrial area.

Per semester the fee is around 1.2L total considering all parts. In the first year, you have to pay a little bit more as for security deposits and all. It is 78k for tuition fees in which You can avail of fee remission. If your family income is less than 5 lakh you will get 2/3 fees remitted. if your family income is less than 1 lakh you will get full remission.

The campus is good and big .its around 300+ acres. The campus is good its has all type of sports and computer centre and enriched library. We also have many clubs and tech teams its around 80+ clubs are there so You can enjoy whatever you like. We have 3 fest ojaas, culfest and one more.

We have mega hostels. Nit Jamshedpur is also famous for its hostel facilities. The first year you will be provided 2 people rooms but from the second year, all will be provided with a single room with balcony. Mess is like every second college of north India means average.
