Amazing faculty, affordable courses and great infrastructure

I have applied for Zakir Husain Delhi college in the third cut-off in year 2020. The admission process was online due toh covid 19 pandemic, but it was easy to apply for addmission online. I have opted for B.A. PROG ( HISTORY+ POLITICAL SCIENCE) and the criteria for admission in this course is best 3 subjects + one language compulsory. In 2020 for general category cut offs was not announced after the third cut off and persentage in third cut off was 93.

Zakir Husain college has one of best political science departments. And faculty was excellent for political science and for the history it was good. Overall faculty is very nice. Term exams were with the gap of 6 months. the teaching method is easy teachers explains all the topics from basics so that students who have changed their streams will get the topic clearly

there are opportunities to get an internship in the 2nd and 3rd years to gain experience and knowledge. Every student prepares well for internships. Overall, it is good Most of the students get placed with awesome salary packages. 20-30% of students got internships from my course in finance-based companies.

The college has a dedicated placement cell where students can register themselves and placement ratios is very high. Usually, each student who sits for the placement drive is successfully recruited. The average package is around 3-5 LPA which varies according to your course. Major recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, TATA Power, Google etc. Internships are also readily available from companies like Kotak, Amazon, Uber etc.

According to fees was very much affordable for maximum of the cources for min it was 8600 approx. It might be less for ews and St/sc. It also provide for many scholarships and awards namely Mirza Mahmood Begg Memorial Scholarship, Sri Narain Nigam Memorial Scholarship,Ved Kumar Gupta Memorial Scholarship provide for 1400, 1100 and 1100 respectively.

I do not have any experience of college life at campus due to covid 19 but the campus was quite large and infrastructure was great with the one of the greatest libraries in university and one new building have been built currently it was magnificent. This college was also known for its sport like football. The college has many clubs like ncc nss Gandhi circle clubs for musicians and for dancers and debate society is also great. Our college has the largest collection of books in du and has different libraries for both shifts. College also provides wifi facility and labs.
