GATE, CSIR-NET, GATE- 99.25 percentile (Life science), CSIR-NET- All India Rank 36 Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the leadind and renowned university of India. It has a very sophisticated infrastructure and very good academic and research facilities, which made me to opt JMI for my study.

Course curriculum is advanced and updated. It also comprises all the elements for the motivation for research work. courses are designed with highly advanced research experiments in the field of molecular biology, cancer biology, human genetics, microbiology, transgenics, plant sciences, animal sciences etc. Which fascinate the students towards the research field.

since i am talking about bio science the student get there internship from renowned institute like IITs, ICGEB, IGIB, NII, ACBR, JNU, DU, IARI RCB, THSTI etc. with a good amount of internship ranging from 5000-15000 per month.

University has a very active placement cell which arrange placement drives and placement fares. Plenty of companies participate in these placements drives and select the eligible students. Apart from this student also got selected in CSIR-NET and GATE examinations which gives them an impressive salary of 25000 and 28000 per month for higher studies.

Since it is a Central university the fee structure is very feasible. It is affordable to each and every class of society. Some of the fee structure are as followes B.Sc 7700 rs per anum, M.Sc.- 7700 rs per anum, MCA- 8400 rs per anum, M.Phil.- 7700 rs per anum, Ph.D.- 8000 rs per anum.

The gender ratio in the university is extraordinary. The male and female students are in the same no. Infact the no. of female student could be more. The campus is lush green with lots n lots of garden and lawns. Each and every day international and national level conferences and workshops are a common thing here.

Jamia Millia alumni are spread all over the world and they are always ready to help there alma mater. Many alumni meets are organised throughout the year.

Semester system is followed in the university. In each semester 2 sessional examinations are there. a regular lab course is there through out the semester followed by the lab examinations. Each semester students have to appear for 4-5 subject exam and 3 lab course exam all over it is hectic with the punch chill out.

For admission in Ph.D. course, First of all I filled the online application. since I have qualified GATE and CSIR-NET, I am eligible to appear directly in interview. I have gone through the tough interview process and after that i got admission there.

The faculty members are highly qualified with Ph.D. and post doctoral research as well as the multiple years experience in the teaching and research field. The teachers use the digital and electronics media to explain different topics. Along side the teachers and student interactions are very good and friendly which makes students free to discus the topics with faculty.
