Remarks

I applied for UPG, NM, NMIMS, BHU, Jaihind, Hinduja. My sister attended NM and gave me good reviews in terms of exposure, faculty and placement about Mithibai college hence the decision taken. The minimum marks required were 40% passing. Age - 12th passing The admission process since beginning is a bit tedious. A lot of paperwork is required first on university level and then individually on college level. Once your nam appears on the call list of the college then you can go ahead and secure your admission within 2 days post that it will be automatically cancelled. On the counselling day you need to submit your fees and secure your admission by filling out some forms and handing over your documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this courser as the syllabus was a bit different than other courses. The faculty ois very friendly and helpful The faculty is highly qualified and also helps you in your research and in your projects. The exams were very timely and not very difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I always applied for iternships outside of my college premises hence no comment about that. Students can always visit the placement cell and inquire about it. I have not personally done any projects for the internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placemements are really nice. Big companies come to Mithibai for placement such as Morgan Stanley, KPMG, Deloitte, etc. A student is eligible in the 3rd semester for sitting in the placements. A lot of people were placed from my class. I took a pre placemenet offer too.

Fees and Financial Aid

I felt the fees was fine and not on the higher side. There was no hike in the fees in my course of Graduation. Living in Mumbai thought is a bit expensive. I did not apply for any scholarship or any part time job for a stipend.

Campus Life

5

Mithibai is very famous for its extra curricular activities and fests. I personally was a part of two fests and was head in one of them. Mithibai as per my experience gave me a very good exposure and college life to experience new opportunities and a boost to my self confidence. There are a lot of clubs and sports teams in the college which helps the students to participate in it and persue it to the level they want to.

Other Applied Colleges

Usha Praveen Gandhi College | BMM

On the basis of reviews Mithibai felt like a better college

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
