Remarks

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is to the point we have a subject of business law too which is very hard but definitely relevant. Although the course needs an update on the current level of business. Again alot of importance is given into memorising than actually understanding of the theories. Alot of theories can definitely be used in professional trainings and the tax which we had was updated and was of the current year rules so it is very helpful for understanding the current situations and criteria.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement in r college is very average, specially for B.com we get very average companies and salary. We did you an internship but for just 2 weeks and it was very less of a time to actually learn anything. We have very low percentage of students who get recruited as many opt do study further and go to cities outside and many have their tradition business already established.

College Events

4.5

We have many events, During the begin we have Welcome event which is for the new students its organised by the seniors to the juniors, it has games and dine its a bonding and social time. Then we have a lot of festival functions also and during December, we have alot of inter class competitions and inter group competitions like debate, treasure hunt and many more games. Then in January we have are days. Which is the biggest event of the year. We have a week full of fun and games. And during the end of that week all the winners trophy is given which ends in dancing and partying. Then after are exams we have a small before the holidays party just meet, eat and greet kinda stuff for the teachers and students to bond more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very feasible not that expensive. The whole years fees was 21000. Can be paid in 4 instalments or in one go. They accept cash, cheque and online payment methods too. There is additional fee for field trips and contributions for a events too. Yes. college provides full transparency in the fees breakdown down

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college offered scholarship on the bases of merit. The people who did very good that is scored very good were given a scholarship. They just had to go talk to the HD and they taken in your scores and put a list by the end of the week.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life was fun and some of my best days just going to the garden m sitting and breaks or going to the canteen and enjoying tea just brings good memories. The gender ratio was 1: 2 girls were half of the number of boys. There was alot of diversity too. We had a sports lecture im which we would play volleyball or tennis or carrom each to their choice. We has debates in class. And we had debates in events too

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah they bring back the alumni to talk and to guide us. Alumni tell us their experiences and help us with are doubts in the current field they r serving in. I remember how much we bonded with seniors during the events and during competitions. Alumni are mostly we kind and helpful too

Admission

I wanted to do B.com because I love finance and B.com helps me with it. Right after I finished my 12th I made a list of colleges open for me in my marks I put in application and then got accepted at two colleges and I picked the better one out of the two, On the bases of colleges reputation. The admission started in the beginning of June and everything was finalised by the first week of July and college started the next week itself.

Faculty

2.5

We had a total of 6 classes a day 3 in the morning and 3 at noon, the average age while graduating was 21. We had good and bad professors, the good professors classes were very educational but the bad professors were not interested in taking classes and teaching us. We had alot of professionals come over to are colleges and guide us we were given good amount of mock interviews and probably guided on the various professions we can choose. We also had industrial visits but more then side seeing I didn’t think it was of much help.

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.
