The Gokhale Education Society is located in Saharanpur Road , Prin T.A Kulkarni , Vidya Nagar, Nashik , Maharashtra 422005. It was established in 1918 on the third death anniversary of Narendra Gopal Krishna Gokhale by the illustrious disciple late Principal T.A Kulkarni who was also a great social worker.

It offers UG, PG, Research, Vocational, and Certificate courses in Arts and science streams. Admissions to the courses are based on merit in the last qualifying examination.

Gokhale Education Society Awards And Achievements

The college has been selected as the best college by SPPU, PUNE for the academic year 2019-2020.
It was the first college established in Nashik Region.
The college has its own annual publication “SHRADDHA” which contains various creative writings and ideas of the students.

Gokhale Education Society Admissions

The admissions will be strictly done on the merit-based and as per the rules of the reservations.

Only those students will be considered for the admission who fulfill all the eligibility conditions laid down by the university.

How to Apply?

Applicants have to pay all the full fees during the time of the admission.
Change in the subject once offered is not allowed.
Immediately after seeking the admission the student should obtain an Identity Card / Library Card.
In case applicants have any problem during the admission procedure, course, subject ,document they can contact the admission staff , Principal or Vice Principal.
Students offering bifocal courses have to fill up the separate form and submit it into the vocational electronic lab and get the subject approval confirmed at the time of admission.

Documents Required:

A passport size recent photograph must be affixed on the admission form in the space provided.
Students from other colleges: Original copy of the transfer certificate and marksheet along with two attested xerox copies of each must be attested to admission form.
Students from other boards/universities have to submit Transfer certificate, Migration certificate, Passing certificate in original along with two attested Xerox copies of each document.
Students seeking admission to the first year B.A /M.A,/B.Sc,/M.Sc have to fill the eligibility form of the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Applicants eligible for the concession in fees like PTW/STW/FF/EBC/Reserve Category/Defense Personnel etc will have to submit the undertaking at the time of admission that they will fill the online form.
Students of H.P.T/ R.Y.K seeking readmission have to submit the original copy of the marksheet with two Xerox copies of the same.
The Parent-Teacher Association form should be filled and submitted along with the admission form. The application form will not be accepted without the PTA form.

Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fees: The application cancelling the confirmed admission will be receiving the refund fee after deducting the amount on the instructions given below.

The college has started the “Earn”and “Learn” program in association with Quick Heal Foundation which gave them training about Cyber Security and handling the whatsapp. These trained students were asked to give presentations on Cyber Security to the students from 5th to 10th class in over 200 schools . The trained students also got the remuneration of about 500/- per presentation. The trained students have crossed over 20,000 and the corresponding amount of remuneration goes more than 1,80,000 (Once Lakh Eighty Thousand Only)

More than 4000 thousands are benefited from this activity and over 700 students are placed in reputed companies inside and outside Nashik region.

Bhausaheb Vartak Granthalaya library in total area of 8775 sq.ft with total collection of 1,22,202 (Senior College) and 14,654(Junior College).
The college Gymkhana has a spacious ground and also organizes various sports activities for student enhancement in sports.
There is a reading room equipped with a large number of books available for competitive exams like UPSC,MPSC , Bank exams . Students can register their name and enjoy the facility.
The college has two seminar halls for conducting meetings and functions.
The college has also set up a language laboratory lab for learning English with lingua phone software.
The college has installed drinking water coolers with aquaguard at 6 accessible places.
Electricity Generator with the capacity of 84 KVA and 42 KVA for constant electricity
Ramps are available for students and people with different disabilities.
The college has enough parking space for both girls and boys.
Hostel Facility is not available but 2 canteens are available in the college.

Ques. Is placement good at Gokhale Education Society ?

Ans. Yes. Before the placement the students are trained under a programme called EARN and LEARN on Cyber Security and are asked to give a presentation on I to the students of 5th to 10th class over 200 schools with an remuneration of 500/- presentation. More than 4000 students have been benefited from this training part and approximately 700 students are placed in reputed companies inside and outside Nashik region.

Ques. Are there any hostel facilities available in the college ?

Ans. No. There are no hostel facilities available in the college. But the girls hotel is available if necessary. The hostel can accommodate only 100 girls.

Ques. Is it true that Medical and Physical Education Examination are compulsory for the students?

Ans. Yes . But only for the students of F.Y. B.A and F.Y. B.Sc and have to give the eligibility test otherwise they will not be permitted for the examination.

The vast variety for sports...it includes team sports as well as individual games
campus is filled with trees and has a botanical garden

cleanliness in the washroom.. few students don't follow discipline

Admission:

I had applied to other colleges but I did not took admission because this college has better and big campus with huge playground. The crowd is competative which will allow you to strengthen in many ways. It will also help with improving and developing your personality.

I like the teaching method of teachers they have lots of experience of teaching and overall staff of this college they have experience more than 10 years.
Days of the college is awesome and the lots of extracurricular activities they will taken

Dislikes

I don't like college washroom that is not cleaned properly .
I think they have to improve their speed of teaching and give less complition to students.

Admission:

I don't apply to any other college because I know this college is best for a bachelor of science. I don't get rejection from any other colleges. If you want to do a bachelor of science in Nashik so you can choose this college. The admission process is so easy if you got good marks in 12th then you get easily admission to this college and you don't need to take any exam for admission.

The Lab instruments are well organised and prepared. They have all the instruments needed in a microbiology lab for example they have the autoclave machine they have all the microwaves incubator and everything they also have standard quality is of mi

A things are disliked was the behaviour of our practical teacher she was good but sometimes she used to forget telling us things and letter she used to scold us on that which was a bit disappointing.
Then I also thought that writing so many journals and all was tiring

Admission:

I applied for furguson College Pune but I choose this over that as I live in Nashik and it was more affordable for me to stay here and go to the college as r y k is famous for microbiology and furguson one of the best but they had large amount of fees. Admission process of our colleges you have to fill online form on people app if you have the eligibility criteria then you will get the microbiology or biotechnology department if you have the proper percentage and everything then you will get in this microbiology department. Only 30 to 35 students are obtained per year.

Savitribai Phule Pune University(SPPU) offers a vibrant academic environment with a rich history and diverse student community.I appreciated the strong faculty expertise and their supportive mentorship.
The Campus amenities are Commendable,fostering a conductive learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

I found the administrative processes at SPPU to be cumbersome and occasionally inefficient.
The campus, while sprawling, could benefit from better maintenance and modernization in facilities.

Admission:

The admission process at SPPU was straightforward with clear eligibility criteria and accessible application forms online.Reservation benefits were transparently applied.However, clearer communication on exam dates.

Faculty is educated and there are very motivating and encouraging.
The management of faculty and non faculty is really very helpfull.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of classroom as there is not enough size.
Fees window, during the time of admission is very rush

Admission:

So, I applied for B.sc in HPT arts and RYK science without any entrance exam. The admission is based on your board exam marks with 50% above applicable. But if you opt for subjects such as microbiology or biotechnology then cutoffs are usually higher than the plain B.Sc. For admission the form u get on the college window and submit it there only. The admission process starts after the result of the 12th board examination in June- July. The overall fees for plain B.Sc. are up to 10k only. If anyone has a reservation will get more benefits.

What is the fees for BCA course admission

Gokhale Education Society HPT Arts and RYK Science College does not offer BCA course to the students. There are other courses available at UG level such as BA, B.Sc. and B.Com.
