Is placement good at Gokhale Education Society ?

Yes. Before the placement the students are trained under a programme called EARN and LEARN on Cyber Security and are asked to give a presentation on I to the students of 5th to 10th class over 200 schools with an remuneration of 500/- presentation. More than 4000 students have been benefited from this training part and approximately 700 students are placed in reputed companies inside and outside Nashik region.

Are there any hostel facilities available in the college ?

No. There are no hostel facilities available in the college. But the girls hotel is available if necessary. The hostel can accommodate only 100 girls.

Is it true that Medical and Physical Education Examination are compulsory for the students?

Yes . But only for the students of F.Y. B.A and F.Y. B.Sc and have to give the eligibility test otherwise they will not be permitted for the examination.

Is the Gokhale Education Society a Government college ?

No. Its a private college both Junior and Senior.

Are there any counseling services available inside the college?

The Department of Psychology has set up a personal counseling cell for the students who can take help of the counselor and their information will be kept private.

What is YMCOU? What are the courses available in it?

The college offers Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YMCOU) courses such as:Diploma in JournalismB.C.JB.AB.ComMPSC/UPSC Composite Guidance.

What are the Vocational Courses available at Gokhale Education Society College?

The college offers vocational courses for arts streams such as English Tourism and Travel under F.YB.A / S.Y.B.A/T.Y.B.A . The eligibility for this is an applicant who has passed the H.S.C examination (12th) or any equivalent examination of another statutory Board of University with English as a subject is eligible to the first year B.A degree Course.

Placement Experience:

From MSc they become eligibility for eligible for campus placements and also from BSc 3rd year and now the have made rule of 4 years so if you want to do BSC for 3 years you can do that or you can do for 4 years to. The highest package obted for our college was 7 to 8 lacs where as the lowest package was from 3 to 4 lacs. Overall 15 to 20% of students got placements . After getting the degree and BSc and planning to go abroad.

For eligibility, you must have graduated in any field. The average package is 2lac. Most of the students apply for placement but the result is hardly about 5-10%. After my degree, I will pursue a postgraduate and then will apply for Ph.D.

There placements are not available for my course not even the internship is available because as the course required done other extra certificate of programming language. Institute do not take any special steps to prepare for students for internship or jobs. The percentage of students are very good like some even scores 90+ in campus.
