Course Curriculum Overview

2

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are various companies which comes for inter internship and job openings for fresher after third year of B.com some companies are start up or Private Limited offering different roles to different students, and depending the packages of the students is defined as per their roles in the firm. Also, there is a separate committee for placement known as placement committee and the average package for each student. After graduation of BCom is around 2.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 1st year was 35000 and then in 2nd year it is 37000 and the exam fees are excluding. Also there is a emi option for one time payment of fees. The reservation benefits depends from student to student

Campus Life

5

I didn't only learn about the studies and exam curriculum, but also learned about the social environment. Professionalism created a group with strangers, joined various clubs and solved complex problems with my seniors. Also, the staff members and our class teacher had to go through various different problems and write a moral from it over all the experience. Till now is the best and my decision seems to be pretty well in the college.

Admission

I applied for 4 colleges that are as follows:- 1.) Garware College of commerce and science 2.) Balaji College of commerce and science. 3.) Indira College of commerce and business studies 4.) BMCC, Pune. All the other colleges were too far from my location. Also, i found indira campus eco friendly and good placement ratio over others. Also, the crowd of other colleges weren't fimiliar to me and to be honest the structure and list of admission was also very complex. The admission process of my college Indira starts from uploading the number of seats vacant for every semester on its own website from which students have to download and fill their form and submit to the respected committee on the website or email them. The students get a call back from the college and the admission is further proceed.

Faculty

4

The faculty is duely monitered and managed by different commitee to look after the students overlooking their prgress and also watching over doubt solving skills. The course is divided into 6 semester i.e (6 sem in 3 years). As per the NEP. A student can have B.com for 4 years with a live project and for the purpose of gaining experience. The exam scheme is decided every semster and it is duely informed by the respected subject teachers

Night Life

1

The Indira College has its own gym, cafeteria Library and benches for students in the garden and also have its own basketball court for utilising it in free lectures the campus also have its own hostel for girls and not for boys there are canteen and other street food, Stall outside the college for students. Overall, I find the campus in very greenery and friendly. I didn't opt for hostel, so there is no night life of my college to be honest.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.
