TKM - A Never Ending Paradise to Discover

The admission was purely based on the entrance rank MCA. I was admitted by the general category. I got admission into this college on the second allotment. The first allotment I have got is from another college. But I canceled that college when I got here. Because that was a private college and TKM is an aided college. Also, the reputation of TKM comes to my mind and attracts me to go for it.

I was strongly passionate about computers and technology. That made me took this course. Also, there was huge faculty support available so that it ensures each student gets equal care and opportunity to nurture their talent. Also, the faculties available are very much supportive. Most of the faculty were seniors and have doctorates in their respective fields. So they are well experienced to train the students. Their teaching methods were so much effective even though it was a conventional approach. Term exams were properly conducted and reviewed very seriously at regular intervals. So that it ensures students are on the right track and it was so much helpful for the preparation of final exams.

In the final year, we get many internship opportunities along with a stipend. Knowledgelens, Techgentsia are such companies associated with tkm. Basically for doing final year projects students can grab those internship opportunities provided to them. It gave students a wonderful opportunity to practical experience with an office environment. We get the opportunity to learn more and grow more through that.

Campus placement is one of the next big things or advantages of tkmce. Every year top most MNC companies make recruitment from our college. Companies like TCS, Oracle, Byju's, Wipro, Capgemini, Ustglobals recruit students with good salary packages varying from 3 lakhs to 10 lakhs. And most of the students are guaranteed any of these offers. That's the reputation of tkm. More than 75% of students get placed in one of the topmost companies every year. The placement opportunities start from the beginning of the final year so that it ensures every student gets enough time to grab their opportunities. Currently, I am working in TCS after completing my degree.

The fees for the program are much lower, so that wasn't a worry for students. Also, many scholarship opportunities were provided within the college. I have got Egrantz scholarship so it was much helpful for me to meet my educational needs. The college also provides special scholarship benefits to students that are from a low financial background.

The ones who need to enjoy their campus life will definitely be there at Tkm college. Because it is a big college with students from different parts of our country. So the social life on the campus was very much fun and interactive. We meet with different types of people with different cultural values through various clubs and organizations. We get a great opportunity to interact with them. Every day there will be some kind of program going on. All the sports like cricket, football, badminton, tennis were given equal importance, and inter-college tournaments were held regularly. Annual college fest is also something every tkm'ians are proud of. Conjure, one of the big annual techno-cultural events held every year during the month of March-April is enough to describe that. It's basically a 3-4 day event but it's like a year-long event worth to remembering. Many social groups are run and volunteered by students like UNAI, Gulmohar foundation.
