Course Curriculum Overview
I have completed BCA so I followed its corresponding post graduation . There are 7 faculties at Calicut University campus for MMCAand a Lab assistant. The faculties must complete post graduation or any higher education (PhD or net qualified). In MCA exams are conducted by sem vise so there should be a semester exam after each. It is not that much easy to pass these exams so need to focus on each subjects thoroughly
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a fee for every semester and the fees should be changes in every year .my total cost to study MCA was nearly one lakh fourty five thousand . OBC scholarships are available for the students. Placement rate for MCA is around 30%.
Campus Life
There is no annual fest for MCA at Calicut University campus. There is a great library for the students and most of the books are available with great infrastructure. Also there is a common"C.H. Muhammed koya library" for all the students at the campus
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is 24 hours open .so it is good for the research students and the hostel fees is only rs.80 per month . The meal quality is average. The registration process is easy , student who completed course registration can easily get the hostel admission
Admission
Candidates applying for the MCA program must pass the entrance exam conducted by the university of Calicut.The candidate must have obtained a bachelor's degree with mathematics or statistics 50% marks. Candidates can find the application form from the official website of calicut University.
