Best of the best college in Kerala

The only bad remarks is the fight between different branches. Other than that, our college is one of the best college in Kerala.

The curriculum we studied was a bit old if you ask me. The college was under University of Calicut and the curriculum was formed in 2010. But if you wanna learn the advanced mechanism you gotta learn from the basics. The curriculum was mainly based in the basic. But now the university changed and so was the curriculum. Many of the students got placement through campus recruitment including in MNCs like wipro, tcs. etc. The industrial visit we arranged was to Bangalore, the IT hub of India.

They are several MNCs like wipro, tcs, infosys come every year to our campus. They choose the most eligible candidates through written exams interviews and group discussions. 60 percent of the students are likely to get hired even before they finish their graduation. The college administration provide campus placement driven lectures to the eligible students.

We MCA students presents a national level IT fest called Excellencia each year. We get participations from all around India. We provide a prize money of 1. 5 to 2 lakh. The Btech students have technical festival called MEStech each year. And MBA students have Mesmerise management fest.

The fee structure is feasible comparing other colleges. For the MCA 3 years a fee 1. 5 lakh plus other miscellaneous fee. The college the fee in year wise not semester wise. There are no other additional fee required to secure the admission in our college.

The college don’t have any scholarship packages but they reduce fee of students from backward community and financially backward students.

As of campus life, it was the best three years of my life. My college doesn’t care about the gender of they are good at studying. From what I can see, we holds a fifty fifty gender ratio. College participant in most of the inter college athletics meets and arts festivals. Also we win good prizes. There are many good startup companies rooted in our college. One of them made a robot called Gen 1. The company is now called Gen Robotics and they made revolutionary robot to clean man holes in India. Many of the state bought their robot and now are using those to clean sewage waste. Students from every religion can study there without any hate or racist issues. The college never tolerated racism in campus. As of sexual orientation, it’s whole another problem. I have never anyone talk about their sexual orientation in my life. It’s like crime in this country. They still don’t understand its okay to be gay. This is an issue our country and people need to address.

Yes. Very helpful. Recently we created an alumni network for the college. It induces an app, and WhatsApp and Facebook community.

I was an ambitious student who wanted to study computer applications. That’s why I choose Master of computer applications as my post graduation. I passed the entrance exam with rank 38 and got a good position in merit list. After the interview, I secured my place in the 60 students from thousands of applicants. I joined on Dec 2014 and passed out with first class in dec 2017.

One of the best thing of the college was and is the faculties. They are ready to learn new technologies as they come to light. We got faculties who have PhDs and Post graduations in several subjects. All the lectures are required to complete some industrial experience and get certified also they are required to acquire NET qualification.
