MEAEC admission is based on the merit scores of students from the latest qualifying exam, KEAM. Students applying for B.Tech courses are admitted through the KEAM scores.

MEAEC is located in a serene, eco-friendly campus at Vengoor, near Perinthalmanna, in Malappuram district, Kerala. Spread across a lush green area, the campus provides a peaceful and focused environment ideal for technical education. The campus has smart classrooms, a canteen facility, a guest house, and also provides a bus facility.
Auditorium: The College Auditorium has a fixed stage and can accommodate up to 1000 audience members comfortably.

MEAEC provides hostel facilities to its students. There are separate hostel buildings for boys and girls within the campus. All the hostel buildings have 24/7 WiFi internet connectivity, a recreation hall, a gym, and a game room. The girls' hostel has special 24/7 security. Additionally, a laundry facility is also available for all the students at nominal charges.
The annual hostel fee is INR 4,000 - 7,000. Each student on admission should pay Rs. 5000/- as a caution deposit. Caution deposit will not be refunded before completion of the course.
The Hostel rent will be decided by the Management Committee from time to time. Payment of rent should be made in advance for every year at the beginning of the academic year. Admission to the Hostel is made for each academic year. Students leaving mid-way are liable to pay room rent for the full year.
