Remarks

I have applied several colleges for admission such as Calcutta University, presidency university, Bethune College and so more but I haven't get any admission from these colleges due to some health issues of mine then last I got admission in Jadavpur University. It is one of the best university in kolkata because this college only focus on the students talent not the money this college is near to my house and it is very easy for me to travel the minimum percentage to get admission in this college is 80% if the students have marks it is very easy to get admission fisrt year fee is Rs 2500 this college also provide admission in different quota alsi such as sports quota and merit.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose btech because I love to learn more about technology and all it is very interesting. The teaching method this college is very excellent and friendly teachers are there. It is the reason for the success of this college. The students can ask any doubt at any time teachers are there to clear the douts. This college conducts exams frequently and it is very difficult. These type of exams helps students veryuch in final exams. The college facility is very good for every students

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fees is about Rs 2500 and it takes about 24,000 to complete the course the college also provide several scholarships for poor students so that they can complete their studies without spending any money. You will get scholarships on health issues also and if you are good in sports activities also this college is the best it provides a lot of Scholarships. At the last year if you are good in studies the college itself provide placements. In different companies.

Campus Life

Jadavpur University conducts it's annual fest and tech fest every year during December month it is an opportunity for every students to show off their talents. The college library is well equipped with a lot of books the library contains a lot novels and many more like biographys etc. The most exciting thing in the Jadavpur college is the sports meet where the talented students competate each other and win prizes the universities social media and websites are very active and you will get instant reply when to are trying to contact them.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected. The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

1) I applied for Delhi School of Economics, however couldn't manage an admission due to the extreme cutoff on CUET exam for the same. I had confirmed admission from North Bengal University, however it was not feasible since I had a choice in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University has the best rank among all other colleges I had a confirmed admission to, so I chose this University. 2) I wanted to study in Delhi School of Economics, but couldn't make it there due to the extensive cutoff in CUET which I unfortunately couldn't clear. 3) Jadavpur University conducts its own internal exam for admission into its esteemed Masters of Arts [M.A.] programme. However one can get through by CUET exams as well, however that needs a decent score.
