Remarks

Cut off for my course was 88 in the best 4 subjects including one language paper. In the beginning, I filled a university form. After filling out the application form and the release of cut-offs, we were required to fill in the college admission form available at the college website during the time of admission. The admission process lasts for 3 days after the release of every cut-off. We were required to submit self-attested 10th and 12th marksheets along with 3 passport size photos. After the verification admission got confirmed and paying the fee for one year which was 7000 for the 1st year students, admission letter was sent on my email with a date of commencement of classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I wanted to pursue MBA after my graduation and since I was from a science background, maths was a perfect choice. There are total 15 professors in maths department and the total students is around 300. The faculty : student ratio is 2:1. The professors are perfect. They know how to teach and above this, they are higly experienced And qualified. Even in online mode, exams are taken timely, two exams per year.

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college do provide internship with big companies and organization. But I haven't applied for internship, I have heated about it form my friends. The 'saksharta cell of our college brings numerous internship opportunities. They even provide performance based stipends, participation certificate, professional certificate, LOR, and other rewards.

Placement Experience

4

Being a mathematics student, only a few posts were offered to us like data handler, PR, etc The college has its own placement and E-cell is named Saksham. The recruiting companies ranged from HDFC, ICICI deolite etc. The packages were dependent on the roles and the shift timings. Around 200 students from my year registered for placement and around 160 students got selected. The highest package was around 10 lakhs and the lowest was 3.6 lakhs per annum. I want to do MBA first and then sit for placement so I won't apply for placement after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for my course is 21,000 for three years. This is not the same for every students. The PWD students receives concession . They have to pay only 100-500 rupees per year. The college staff's ward has to pay half fee. The students from poor background also receives fee concession of approx 2,000/year. One can get no. Part time jobs in campus but they pay less.

Campus Life

5

Life at Satyavati is amazing. It has the best auditorium, well - maintained, big and air-conditioned. The college has two buildings old one and new one. From computer lab to library and seminar room, everything is upto the level of satisfaction. Talking about fest, Revel is the annual culture fest of satywati college. It lasts for three days in the month of March . Street play and singing on 1st day, dance and fashion show on the 2nd day with star night, band performance and dj night on 3rd day. Outsider needs to buy pass on order to witness the star night. Stars like shreya sharma, milind gaba, dilpreet dhilon and many more.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
