Remarks

I also applied for Shyam Lal College, PGDAV College, and Ramjas College. But found this college's cutoff matching with percentage. The admission process is quite simple and centralized. The University of Delhi releases registration forms and cut-offs for all the colleges. All we have to do is to apply to the college for whose cutoff, our percentage stands fit.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course gives complete insights into the mathematical sciences and hence proves to be very useful if you are going into the corporate world. We have subjects like Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics. And all the faculties are well qualified and quite knowledgeable. I especially like the way Preeti mam teaches, lots of brain-teasing assignments which helps to get a broad concept about the subject. The exam times are a bit stressful, but eventually, everything goes well. Teachers help a lot in the preparation.

Internships Opportunities

Mostly, Unschool, White Panda, and Flipkart offer internships here in the field of Sales and marketing. I got a sales and marketing internship at Unschool and that taught me network management and marketing skills.

Placement Experience

Students can apply for placements in their final year. There are many companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Unschool, etc which offer good packages. The average annual package ranges between 4-5 lakhs per annum. The placement rate is around 80%. Talking of me, I am planning for going for MBA after this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees of B.Sc. Mathematical Sciences is 12000. Well, it is quite affordable for a simple middle-class family. Regarding scholarship, All the grants are sanctioned by the University of Delhi, so one has to apply there only. But there are a lot of schemes for underprivileged, differently-abled, and disabled children.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest named Yuvaan, which is held generally in the spring semester. The college also has a well-furnished library. There is a multi-function gym also. The classrooms are well ventilated and equipped with projectors and screens. Also, there is an annual inter-department sports competition named Spardha. There are lots of ECA societies like Meraki, Quissa, Ramanujan, Markos, Srijan, etc.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
