Remarks

I applied for various colleges of Delhi University, Jamia Milia Islamia and IP University. I always wanted to go to Delhi University for my graduation. And I was successful in clearing the cut off which was required. The minimum marks required - 95% Above (Best of four).

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Since school, economics has been my favourite subject and I was sure about building my career in this field. The student-faculty ratio is 70:10. The faculty is amazing. Teachers are very well educated, knowledgeable and helpful as well. They are always open to discussions and solving your doubts. Term exams are held in December and May. The difficulty level is average. Students need to be thorough with their concepts in order to pass with good marks.

Internships Opportunities

4

The following companies have been coming to offer internships Outlook India, Happily Married, Design Karkhana, India ills, Teach Alliance, Make a difference, Philip Morris International etc. Some are paid and some are not.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students from the 3rd year become eligible for campus placements. Usually, companies like BCG, EY, Accenture recruit students every year. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA and the lowest offered was 3 LPA. 55-60% of students are placed every year. After graduation, I will go for post-graduation in the field of economics only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees are very minimal, around 17,000 per year. There are many scholarships for students but I don't have much idea about it. Some of the top recruiting companies are Brain & Co., BCG, EY, Accenture and many more. More than 70% of the students are able to find placements every year.

Campus Life

4

Mecca is the annual fest which is held in the month of February. There are also many other fests which are held throughout the year like Suruchi, Internship fair etc. Books are easily available for almost every course. The library is very huge and all the important books are kept in the reserve section. There is a well-equipped reading room that subscribes to a large number of dailies, weeklies and journals. There is an endless number of societies in Hindu College. And students can join any of them. There are many pages on Instagram like the Friend's club which is for students run by the students only. People are very helpful here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The IGNOU course curriculum is comprehensive and relevant, especially for distance and open learning. Studying with IGNOU course can help in clearing your basics as well as detailed understanding of the topics. It is useful in preperation of government exams as well. The exams are conducted each year or every 6 months for different types of courses so the time to study and prepare is enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like my course because from the beginning I had to study Political Science under Bachelor of Arts. Also, this course is taught very well in the college but if some changes are made in it like language and selection of the right professor then it will be even better. Also, the exams in the college are held on time but the difficulty level is also different.
