Remarks
The college is located in Sheikh Sarai (Malviya Nagar) area of South Delhi, which is considered to be a very nice area in terms of places to eat and shop. The admission process was pretty smooth, initially there was an aptitude test followed by an interview after which the counselling sessions took place. The fees is really inexpensive considering the campus and facilities provided at the college premises.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is top of the line and the teachers are really experienced. Teachers for a few subjects like finance and marketing were comparatively new but were knowledgeable. It's not easy to score well in the exams but not that difficult either. Always keep up with the Assignments and class tests and attendance too because it is of crucial importance
Internships Opportunities
I did opt for 2 marketing internships in the second year of my college life where I was responsible to handle the social media outreach and campus marketing for the brands. The first one was an unpaid internship and the second paid a stipend of 5k/month and both of them provided certifications.
Placement Experience
There is a special placement committee which is always there to help you out for getting your CV out to the HRs of different organisations. Also, they're responsible of getting the companies to come to the college for placements who mostly conduct an aptitude test first and then an interview. Even if you don't get placed, it is not that difficult to get a job after the course as it is a very reputed college and course.
College Events
Various clubs and events keep taking place. There's something new every month. The college has been a top performer amongst all DU colleges when it comes to dramatics and dance societies. The library has all the books you would need to get through and the teachers also give you attendance if you are even going for sport/arts practice.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I have not seen much campus jobs in the college. There were a lot of volunteering activities that were carried out throughout the year which really helped students gauge that professional knowledge and network which always helps later in life. As far as financial assistance goes, there were scholarships for SC, ST and OBC category students and also for rank holders. Apart from all this, the fee structure was something on a lower end of other DU colleges with somewhere around 7k for a year exclusive of the examination fees.
Admission
There was no GD but a PI, after the aptitude shortlisting, was conducted with a panel of 3 esteemed professors asking out questions on what the candidate sees in this course and how he can make the most of it.
