A Happy Student- Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, New Delhi.

I chose this college because it is one of the most respected colleges for Commerce in Delhi if not in India the infrastructure is modern and very good the college societies are very active and it is near my house . Also there are very less colleges in Delhi university which provides Bachelor of Management Studies which was my course of choice .The professors are also very knowledgeable and focus more on professional development than bookish knowledge.

I chose this course because I have interest in Management and I want to pursue MBA in the future so BMS and BBA were my courses of choice also I lived near Delhi that is why I applied for DU JAT . The faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful they not just give the knowledge pertaining to the syllabus but also give meaningful insights into how that subject matter will help us in future.

4-5 of the 30 societies that are in the college provide regular internships for the students also the placement cell of the college helps students in getting internships from companies like- Padhhigh, Camp k12, Vista Rooms, Visudh Shivam, etc.

The placements provided by the college are normal for the colleges in Delhi university the average placements amount 3-4 Lakhs per annum while the highest placements can go up to 12-13 Lakhs per annum. About 80% of the students get placed in companies like Deloitte, Aditya Birla Capital etc.

The fees structure of 44200 per year at a first glance might seem a bit much for a college in Delhi university but when compared with other college's fees which provides similar courses all over the India which can get to 1 lakh per annum than it is one of the best value for money courses .

One of the best pros of my college is the societies as there are more than 30 active societies who are kept in check by the internal quality assurance cell of the college. The campus life is very good there are a lot of hangout spots near the college including D mall and Beggars point. The Amenities are also quite nice the college has a very nice library and the college also provides old laptops for the students who don't have laptops the college is also planning to install air conditioners in all the classrooms.

The hostel facility is only available for female students but the price of the hostel is only Rs 150000 per year all the rooms have air-conditioning installed and the hostel is located inside the college.
