Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum in Non-Law subjects is respectable specially in Sociology. Studying law for the first time you will come across different viewpoints and ways of seeing things.Though it is pertinent to say since the other college building are still in construction, we currently do not possess a moot Court. Talking about the exam structure, currently 5 numbers are allotted to the attendance of the student, going from 75%(1 mark) to above 95%(5 marks). There's a mid semester of 20 marks and end semester of 50 marks.The remaining 25 marks are allotted to presentations and projects/assignments.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities can not be talked about right now, since the university was established in 2016, meaning thereby that the first batch students will be in 5th year starting July,2020. The college gives the details of a number of firms, NGO's and other areas to explore giving you the opportunity to apply to the same from their directory giving the details for the same.A letter of recommendation is also provided.In short, you have to look for internship in your own.
College Events
Since the 7 months if my joining, only the Fresher's day was celebrated. The space available of events is 'extremely limited' and have not much can be done about it. To do other events and participate one has to go to other colleges/universities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is certainly expensive coming in about 2.5 lakhs per year. Since it is a self-sufficing university, this won't be a surprise. One certainly at least expects great things when they look at the fees structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship for uttar Pradesh students but I do not have apt knowledge to write detailed information about it. One has to ask the authorities regarding this. I didn't have to apply for any.
Campus Life
We currently have a room having 2- carrom boards, 2-T.T tables other than that there isn't anything other in sports that the students have or can play. This room is almost always full and the 500+ students which study here can't do anything else.
Hostel Facilities
We do not have hostel facilities at the moment, and are being provided for in private building taken fir this purpose by the university. This hostel infrastructure is lacking in many areas but still is livable.
Alumni/Alumna
No alumni exists till now but senior students are helpful and you can approach them easily. This probably one of the few colleges where ragging doesn't take place. You can easily approach the senior students.
Admission
The admission process starts with the centralized entrance exam called Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT). According to the rank and marks you get in this exam, you get allotted to a particular NLU, also according to your preference you chose while filling the form for the entrance test. The college then asks for your documents after you lock your allotted seat after a certain period.
Faculty
The faculty consists one of the best professors period. Since I've taken B.A L.L.B, I can talk about professors relating to those subjects only. Most of them have done PhD in their fields, and have teaching experience of 10+ years.
