My college experience

I have got admission to IEM Kolkata which has a good placement record as compare to this college through WBJEE instead I prefer this college because of two reasons, it is a government college that comes under Panjab university. I got admission under the EWS category so I can study in this college without paying the tuition fees. Good and Bad Aspects: I have taken admission to this college this year(2020) so till now I m attending the lectures online here some teachers are good and some are average but in the end, you have to study your subject by yourself. The Schedule of an online class is not strictly followed by teachers many times class gets postpone. After communicating with pass-out alumni of UIET Hoshiarpur I came to know that if you have skills in the IT field then you can easily get placement otherwise it is difficult for you. Admission process and date: For BTech admission, you have to register with JAC CHANDIGARH through your JEE Main score.

Some faculty members are good and interactive some are average there is a batch of 60 students in every branch but you miss the types of teachers from which you have been studied earlier in your coaching institutes. There is a huge portion of marks you will get from your internal assessment provided by teachers. Internal exams are not so tough but there is a very difficult question asked in university exams.

PUSSGRC has a TPC community that plays important role in college placements. TPC conducts aptitude tests, arranges database of the student, etc which help final year students during the time of their placements. very few companies visit our campus so we have joint placement .with UIET Chandigarh. Many CS/IT students easily get placement but with the low package which revolves around 3 to 8 LPA. ECE students with good skills in computer languages and with good aptitudes also get placed but if you are from mechanical there is very little chance for you to get placed.

Total tuition fee for B.Tech = 99,295/- INR(PER YEAR) + examination fees = 2575/- INR (PER SEMESTER). Every year approx there is a fee hike of almost 10,000/- INR. because PUSSGRC is a government college so you can get various scholarship opportunities for economically weaker students and SC/ST students. there is almost 3 seats are reserved for economically weaker students.

The campus of the college is average also college does not have good infrastructure but here you can find various groups and communities like NCC, NSS, SHOR, etc which give you good experience in your college life.
