Remarks
One of the top three private colleges in Kolkata Adequate teaching and non-teaching staff Under the Umbrella of Techno India MAKAUT Accepts JEE, WBJEE scores. If missed, can produce school mark sheet and with good performance, admission will be granted It is connected to the main city and yet has some distance from it
Course Curriculum Overview
AEIE is the perfect amalgamation of Hardware and Software training Can sit for both Core as well as IT placements Adequate faculty VS student ratio Faculty is Education oriented. Should be job oriented Exams were conducted by the MAKAUT calendar
Placement Experience
The placements are good. The placement Cell isn't good at all. Companies come because of the name of the college and stay because of the quality of the students. TCS, Cognizant, and few other mass recruiters come. Core companies are scarce. In these times, it is best to apply to off-campus drives, most of which will happen online. There is almost no difference between an on-campus and off-campus placement, Especially during the pandemic.
Fees and Financial Aid
It takes 4.25 lakhs for the whole course. Fooding and Lodging will take 3 lakh more All banks provide loans Scholarships are available for a stellar performance by the State government and the College. New Scholarships are introduced all the time. Please check with the authority to know more
Campus Life
Tech Fest is good The AEIE department has the oldest tradition of the departmental fest in the college so the departmental fest is the best Sports facilities are scarce There are a few Clubs Advertisement of clubs is very bad. As a result, people who are actually interested go ahead and join
Hostel Facilities
I lived in Kuntala Mansion, the biggest PG near the college. The best memories of my college life are from this PG. The Maasis are motherly, the Owners are strict and gentle. We, boarders, did the marketing, and Masi's food was almost like home. Never faced the food problems students of other colleges talk about
